Anime Adventures is a Roblox tower defense game where you summon anime characters, called units, and place them to hold back waves of enemies. Items are what help those units grow, and each kind does a different job. Some level units up, some evolve them, some open the Dungeon, and some change stats or boost damage. Knowing which is which tells you what to farm and what to save.

XP Items: How They Level Up Units
XP items, which the game also calls XP Food, give a unit experience so it can level up. You feed them to a unit, and the unit's damage output goes up as it grows. Once a unit reaches its maximum level, XP items stop giving it anything, so there's no point feeding a maxed unit.
XP items come in tiers, and the stronger ones give far more experience than the basic ones. You can pick them up in story acts, and the Gold shop sells some of them too. It makes sense to save the stronger ones for the units you plan to keep.
Materials for Evolving and Crafting Units
Materials are what you spend to evolve a unit or craft an evolve item. You earn Gold by selling units you no longer need, and crafting happens in the Evolve area, where a long list shows every item you can make.
Each unit has its own recipe, which can call for colored Star Fruit or items from raids and events. You can get Star Fruit from Regular Challenges or the Travelling Merchant. Star Remnants also reroll traits, so it's worth holding onto them.
Dungeon Keys: How to Get Them and What They Open
Dungeon Run Keys open the random Dungeon mode, and each run consumes a key. You get a key from the daily login reward. If you've collected Sacred Treasures, the Gambler NPC will trade them for keys.
Quitting a run early costs you every reward you collected in it, plus the key. Keep that in mind before you start one, especially if you're hoping to finish the run.
Miscellaneous Items: Stat Cubes and Perfect Stat Cubes
Stat Cubes reroll a unit's base stats. A regular Stat Cube rerolls all of a unit's stats at once, while a Perfect Stat Cube rerolls only the one stat you choose. The Perfect Stat Cube is the better pick when one stat is holding a unit back, because a full reroll could undo stats you already like.
To use them, talk to the reroll NPC in the Evolve area, choose Reroll Potential, pick a unit, then choose whether to reroll all of its stats or just one.
Cubes come from the Infinity Mansion. It pays out cubes as prizes for clearing its rooms. Daily challenges give Stat Cubes and a chance at a Perfect Stat Cube, and some battle pass tiers and certain evolutions can also drop them.
Divine Wish and Limit Break
The Divine Wish is the required item for Limit Break, which upgrades a unit. Each equipped Limit-Broken unit boosts your own team's damage, and your traits stay put.
To use one, go to the Limit Break NPC near the Evolve area, pick the unit you want to upgrade, and select the Mythic or higher units to sacrifice. Once the Divine Wish and enough units are selected, confirm the Limit Break. Sacrificed units don't come back, so choose them carefully.
Completing the daily challenge gives a Divine Wish.
FAQ
Is there a limit to how many items I can hold?
XP items stack up to a set maximum for each type, so spare copies stop piling up once you reach it.
Are stat rerolls random?
Yes. You can't choose the number a stat lands on, so a roll can come out worse than the stat it replaced. Worthiness, which builds up as a unit takes down enemies, improves the odds. Each reroll uses some of it, so you'll need to build it back up before rolling again.
