How to Start the Work at a Pizza Place 2010 Quest
Enter Work at a Pizza Place through The Hunt event boat or the 2010 portal in the event hub. Join the event lobby, sit on one of the queue benches, and wait for the countdown to load the scripted restaurant run.
Once the restaurant loads, work through the first objective like this:
- Take the customer's order at the front register.
- In the kitchen, use standard dough, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and sausage to make the sausage pizza. Put it in the oven.
- When the scripted fire starts, use the wall-mounted extinguisher until the fire objective clears. This fire is part of the quest, so it is not a sign that the run has failed.
- Send the finished pizza to the boxing station and wait for the objective counter to advance.
How to Reach the 2010 Time Machine
After the first pizza task, go to the manager's office. The secret recipe is missing, which sends you into the Detective's time-machine route.
Follow these interactions in order:
- Leave through the rear exit and speak with the Detective.
- Follow him to the motorboat, board it, and cross to the island.
- Find Jordan near the coast and campfire, then speak with him.
- Enter the broken shack and use its hidden hatch or ladder passage.
- Follow the Detective into the underground machine room, set the destination to 2010, and start the time jump.
The machine route only opens after the required conversations, so use the markers and speak to each character before trying to operate the controls.
Make and Deliver the Three 2010 Pizzas
In the 2010 restaurant, leave through the cardboard-box passage and follow the arrows to Builder Brothers Pizza. Speak with Brick Builder and put on the red employee uniform. You must make, bake, and advance the counter for one cheese pizza, one pepperoni pizza, and one sausage pizza.

Steal the Secret Recipe and Enter the Return Code
Go back to the manager's office in the 2010 restaurant and take the secret recipe bottle. Follow the marker through the rear exit and cardboard-box entrance until you reach the time machine again.
The Detective's dialogue gives you an eight-digit date code. Enter the date in MMDDYYYY format, using the date shown in the current in-game dialogue. The code changes with the event date, so do not reuse a code from an earlier day or copy an example from a guide.
When the code is accepted, the return sequence and the story-quest reward screen should trigger. The Work at a Pizza Place half is not the entire 2010 challenge yet.
How to Find the Three Pizza Ingredients in the Hub
Return to The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub and go to the 2010 area. Speak with Dued1 outside the pizza building and accept the ingredient objective. The three ingredients are spread across the nearby paths.
Dough on the raised crate path
Use the yellow stairs and raised platform route to reach the wooden crate with the dough.
Sauce by the tree
Follow the path toward the tree and jump or climb to the floating platform where the sauce is waiting.
Cheese at the skate-ramp section
Go through the skate-ramp and construction area to reach the platform with the cheese.
Bring all three ingredients back to the podium in the 2010 area. Cook the pizza over the campfire, then speak with Dued1 again to close the ingredient objective. Finally, interact with the black year cube or the NPC at it to claim the matching 2010 event badge and finish the 2010 hub stage.

The safest completion check is to look for the story reward screen, the Roblox badge notification, the Builder Brothers' Balancing Act award, and the hub message that welcomes you to 2011. If the 2010 prompt remains, one of the two halves is still unfinished.
Work at a Pizza Place 2010 Challenge Troubleshooting
The fire objective will not clear
The fire is scripted. Keep using the wall extinguisher until the objective changes, then send the sausage pizza to the boxing station. Do not abandon the run just because the restaurant catches fire.
The time-machine code is rejected
Read the date in the Detective's current on-screen dialogue and enter it as MMDDYYYY. A code that worked on a previous event date can be stale, so an article example is not a substitute for the code shown in your run.
The 2010 prompt is still active
Finishing the restaurant sequence alone does not close the 2010 challenge. Return to the hub, speak with Dued1, collect dough, sauce, and cheese, cook the hub pizza, speak with Dued1 again, and interact with the black year cube or NPC. If you cannot reach 2010 at all, continue the event's earlier years first because the hub unlocks them in chronological order.
A delivery does not count
Check the postal number on the marked house and make sure the pizza box was delivered to C3, B1, or A2. After the third marked delivery, return to the restaurant so the delivery objective can finish and the recipe route can continue.
