True Muramasa is a sword that drops from the chest opened after you defeat the Depth King, a raid boss in the Third Sea of King Legacy on Roblox. Dreadbroom is a craftable sword that Broomhilda makes on Halloween Island from four materials, and you'll need to gather or craft each of them first.
| Material | Amount | Where to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Cursed Candy | 750 | Halloween bosses on the island or the Skull King in the Second Sea |
| Corrupted String | 1 | Drops from the Skull King, which you summon in the Second Sea |
| Rotten Handle | 1 | Crafted by Broomhilda |
| Withered Straw | 1 | Drops from Jack-O'-Lantern in the Third Sea |
How to Find the Depth King in King Legacy's Third Sea
The Depth King only spawns in the Third Sea, and it appears every 3 hours. Knowing when and where it will show up is what gets you to the fight on time. Equip the Legacy Pose and it shows where the next bosses will appear, along with the Depth King's timer.
If the wait is long, you can shorten the timer. Near the altar on the boss island, a talking tree NPC has its own area. Equip one of the materials the boss has dropped, then offer it at the green altar. Each material takes a different amount of time off the timer.
How to Defeat the Depth King and Open the True Muramasa Chest
The fight has two stages, and the chest waits at the end.

- The Depth King first appears as a turtle curled up in its shell. Bring it down to 1% health and it dives away.
- An island rises from the sea, and the real fight starts there.
- Defeat the boss and a gate opens to a chest room.
- Open the chest to check for True Muramasa.
True Muramasa comes from a drop chance, not a sure reward, so plan to run the fight more than once. Each run gives you another try at the chest, so the repeats are part of the process. Keep going until True Muramasa drops.
How to Get 750 Cursed Candy for Dreadbroom
Cursed Candy is the biggest requirement for Dreadbroom, at 750. You can earn it in two ways, and the first is the Halloween boss route. Equip the Legacy Pose to reveal the next Halloween boss on the island, wait for it to spawn, and defeat it.
The second route is the Skull King in the Second Sea, which also drops Cursed Candy. It's the same boss you summon for Corrupted String, so you can work toward both materials with one boss.
How to Summon the Skull King for Corrupted String
Corrupted String drops from the Skull King, and the boss has to be summoned first.
- Travel to the Second Sea and find the Halloween Event Island.
- Speak with the Forsaken Grave NPC and pay 200 Candies to summon the Skull King.
- Defeat the Skull King to collect Corrupted String.
Corrupted String is a drop, not a guaranteed item, so you may need several summons before it lands. Each summon costs another 200 Candies, so budget for more than one.
How to Craft the Rotten Handle and Collect Withered Straw
Rotten Handle is crafted, not dropped. Broomhilda on Halloween Island makes it from:
- 300 Candies
- 10 Twilight's Orb
- 100 Undead's Ooze
- 250 Logs
Withered Straw is the other piece you collect yourself. It drops from Jack-O'-Lantern in the Third Sea, so you'll need to defeat it to get the straw.

How to Craft Dreadbroom at Broomhilda on Halloween Island
Once you have all four materials, head to Broomhilda on Halloween Island. She's the NPC who crafts Dreadbroom, so bring the 750 Cursed Candy, the Corrupted String, the Rotten Handle, and the Withered Straw with you. If you still need the Rotten Handle, you can craft it at her during the same visit.
