How the GTA 6 Album and Justice Score Differ
The Album is the song collection. It brings together tracks from a wide mix of artists, made in partnership with Atlantic Records, and it captures the electric energy of Vice City and Leonida. Rockstar has shared singles from it, including Yung Lean's "That's It" (feat. Future & Metro Boomin), Travis Scott's "RHYNO," Morgan Wallen's "Last Thing You Need," Cardi B's "Don't Chart" and Keith Richards' "Bright Lights, Big City."

The Justice score is the music written for the game itself. Justice, the French electronic duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, who are Grammy Award winners, composed it. Rockstar describes it as an adaptive score, meaning the music changes with what players do in Vice City and Leonida throughout Jason and Lucia's story. Most of its tracks are instrumental, and its listed singles are "Flower in a Hurricane" (feat. Tame Impala, SZA, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard) and "Pusher" (feat. Gesaffelstein).

"Flower in a Hurricane" is also listed among The Album's singles, so the same track appears on both releases. Rockstar has shared a selection of songs for each one rather than the full lineup. Every confirmed song is on the GTA 6 album tracks page.
Vinyl or CD: What Each Format Gets You
The main differences between the formats are how much you get and how each one is packaged. The score comes as a two-disc CD or a three-LP vinyl set, while The Album's vinyl editions are two LPs. The Justice store describes the score vinyl as gatefold with a UV gloss finish, and a gatefold sleeve opens out like a book.
The official Album CD is the jewel-case edition with a booklet. The Standard CD's product page doesn't say what packaging it uses, so don't assume it matches the official version if the case and booklet matter to you.
For most people, the CD is the lower-cost way to own either release. Vinyl is the better pick for anyone who wants the artwork and the physical record itself.
GTA 6 Soundtrack Exclusives and Limited Pressings
Some versions are sold through only one seller, so the same album can come in different colors and packaging depending on where you buy it. Rockstar names a splatter-edition vinyl, a limited liquid-filled vinyl and the jewel-case CD as store exclusives for The Album.
Retailer pressings are a separate group. Rockstar says exclusive vinyl colorways with unique new art come from Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and indie retailers. Several of them include a 12 x 24-inch poster, so check whether the poster is part of the version you want.
Limited pressings have their own rules. Blood Records' UK pressing is numbered, has a time-limited open pre-order and caps each customer at two copies. When a limited pressing is sold out, the other retailers' colorways are the next place to look.
The score has an exclusive too. Rough Trade lists its 3LP Crystal Clear Vinyl as an indie exclusive, which means it's sold through independent record stores. The limited triple crystal-clear edition is also listed on Justice's own store, so that's another place to find it.
How to Pre-Order the GTA 6 Soundtrack and Score
Each release sends you to different sellers, so the steps vary.
- Start with Rockstar's music page. It has official pre-order links for The Album and the Justice score on vinyl and CD, along with pre-save links for the digital albums. It's the safest starting point for those links.
- Use the official Album store for the standard versions. The product pages there cover Vinyl, Standard Vinyl, CD, Standard CD and the Limited-Edition Vinyl. Check the names carefully, since Vinyl and Standard Vinyl are different records.
- Use the retailer's own listing for named colorways. Blood Records UK, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Target and Rough Trade US all have confirmed pre-orders. Amazon, Walmart and Urban Outfitters sell their own pressings, so use each site's product page for the exact version.
- Use the Justice link for the score. The Justice pre-order link leads to partner storefront links, so you choose the store from there. Rough Trade US is one option for all three physical score editions, and Justice's own store also carries the vinyl and the double CD.
- Check the currency before you pay. Justice's store shows euro prices, the US retailers show dollars and Blood Records UK shows pounds. Prices can change, so trust the figure on the checkout page.
GTA 6 Soundtrack Release Dates and Shipping Dates
Two kinds of date appear on these listings, and they mean different things. The release date is when the music comes out, while the ship date is when a store sends a physical copy. For The Album, some retailer listings show November 19, 2026 as the date, while the official US store's product pages show November 20, 2026 as the ship date.
The score works the same way. It's released December 11, 2026, just over three weeks after the game launches, and Rough Trade lists its physical editions for that same date.
Shipping can also land later than release. Urban Outfitters' limited Album vinyl is expected to ship February 15, 2027, so check the ship date before you assume a copy will arrive near launch. Stock and prices can change too, so check the listing before you order.
