The Muffin Bake Event adds a baking loop to the Fall Harvest World in Grow a Garden 2. Find the Baker, follow the Baker's Journey, gather ingredients, bake muffins, then trade them for event rewards.
If you have not entered Fall Harvest yet, find Explorer Ethan first. That takes you to the separate event world. The original Grow a Garden cooking event uses different mechanics, so its recipes are not a safe shortcut here.
Talk to the Baker to start the Muffin Bake Event
Speak with the Baker to start the Baker's Journey. Follow the event steps shown in-game, and check back with the Baker as you progress. The Wheat and Sugar Cane seeds added in the update come from the Baker.
Gather ingredients and bake muffins
Collect the ingredients you need, then use the central map Oven to bake different muffins. The update also adds an unlockable private Oven that can stay in your garden. Its unlock requirement has not been confirmed, so do not spend resources based on a guessed condition.
The confirmed ingredient details are limited. Chicken lays Small Brown Eggs, which can be sold for Sheckles or Leaves or used in muffin recipes. The update does not establish exact recipe combinations, ingredient quantities, bake times, or costs, so use the values shown by the Baker and Oven in-game.
Trade muffins for the new rewards
Finished muffins can be traded for a Goodie Bag, Sugar Crate, or Sugar Egg. The exchange costs, reward odds, and current availability of each reward are not confirmed, so check the exchange menu in your server before planning around one item.
Because the Sugar Crate is an event reward container, the best crates to open in Grow a Garden 2 puts it in context with other crate choices. For broader pet progression, the best pets to get first in Grow a Garden 2 helps put the event effects beside other early picks.
Event pets
The update names these five event pets:
- Chicken: Lays Small Brown Eggs that can be sold for Sheckles or Leaves or used in recipes.
- Sugar Bunny: Makes jumping and running faster.
- Chocolate Lab: Gives a small chance to duplicate seed-shop purchases.
- Fat Cat: Increases your size.
- Muffin Man: Periodically triggers Sugar Rush, which increases crop sell value.
Event seeds
It also names three event seeds:
- Wheat: Obtained from the Baker.
- Sugar Cane: Obtained from the Baker.
- Sprinkle Sprout: Obtained from a Goodie Bag.
For other seed priorities, the best seeds to buy first in Grow a Garden 2 helps you compare the new additions with the rest of the shop.
