Kitsune is a Secret pet in Grow a Garden 2 from the Fall Harvest drop. You only get it from two Robux products: the Exclusive Harvest Egg and the Exclusive Fall Chest. It is not a free lobby hatch or a normal Fall egg reward.
At night, an equipped Kitsune sneaks into empty gardens on the server, steals fruit, and can apply the Chakra mutation on what it brings back. Chakra multiplies crop value by 60x, so the pet is a high-risk premium gamble with a strong night payoff if it lands.
How to get the Kitsune in Grow a Garden 2
There is no confirmed free path. Kitsune only comes from the Fall Harvest Limited Time Shop.
- Talk to Ethan the Explorer in Garden Valley and warp to the Fall Harvest map.
- Open the Fall Harvest Limited Time Shop (the Robux event store on that map).
- Buy Exclusive Harvest Eggs, Exclusive Fall Chests, or both, then open them.
Pack prices usually run: Exclusive Harvest Egg at 99 / 249 / 799 / 3,499 Robux for 1 / 3 / 10 / 50 eggs. Exclusive Fall Chest at 249 / 649 / 1,999 / 8,799 Robux for 1 / 3 / 10 / 50 chests. Live shop numbers can change, so trust the menu if something looks different.
Kitsune is ultra-rare. Rates sit around ~0.16% on the Exclusive Harvest Egg and 0.1% on the Exclusive Fall Chest. That is roughly one in a thousand opens, not a common Secret.
The egg also shares its pool with other exclusive pets (Scarecrow, Jackalope, Red Panda, and Kitsune). The chest can roll seed packs, Fall Common Eggs, Red Panda, or Kitsune. Most opens will not be Kitsune, even when you buy large packs.

What the Kitsune does (and why Chakra matters)
Keep Kitsune equipped. The night passive only runs while it is active.
Roughly every 5 to 10 seconds, it checks for empty gardens on the server (other plots with no one tending them). It has a high chance to attempt a steal (about 85% per check). On a successful steal, there is about a 20% chance the fruit gains Chakra.
Cooldowns sit near 10 seconds after a successful steal and about 3 seconds after a failed check. Fruit comes back quickly after a good steal (about 3 seconds).
Chakra is a 60x mutation. In Grow a Garden 2, crops hold exactly one mutation. Mutations do not stack, so Chakra replaces a weaker mutation instead of stacking with Bloodlit, Starstruck, or anything else. Kitsune thrives on servers where other gardens sit empty. It still needs multiplayer plots to steal from, so a server with no other gardens gives it nothing to work with.
