Area Attackers That Clear Groups of Toilets
Most of the S-tier picks share one trait: their attacks hit more than one enemy. Waves bring many enemies at once, so a unit that damages a crowd covers more of the wave than one that focuses on a single target. The area attackers differ in how they do it, and that difference should steer your choice more than the tier alone.

Upgraded Titan Cameraman is the most flexible of the group, since its area attacks come with a Relocate ability that gives you more control over where it stands. Headless TV Man is the pick if you want an area attacker that holds up across different situations, because its range and attack cycle stay balanced. Executioner TV Man adds crowd control on top of area damage, which helps most when enemies arrive bunched together.
Other area attackers cover narrower jobs. Upgraded Brute Prototype and Titan Cinemaman are built for high-health enemies, since their heavy hits matter more once toilets carry more health. TV Spider's cone-shaped attack reaches several enemies at once and keeps pressure on the wave.
Names matter here too. Titan Cameraman is a fast attacker with limited range, while Upgraded Titan Cameraman adds area attacks and the Relocate ability. The three spiders also land in different tiers, with TV Spider in S, Camera Spider in A and Speaker Spider in C, so check the full name before you place one.
Long-Range Units and the Trade-Off Between Reach and Damage
Range lets a unit hit enemies from farther away, so you have more freedom in where you place it. Chaos Cameraman is the long-range option in S, and it's the one to reach for when you want reach without giving up pressure.
Reach comes with a cost. Glitch Cameraman and Upgraded Videotapper Prototype both attack from far out, but each hit does less than the leading damage dealers, so they work better as support for your main damage than as the center of a lineup. Dark Camerawoman has the same kind of reach early on, but its low damage limits it to the opening stretch.
Jetpack Cameraman splits the difference. Its range helps you place it flexibly, but its slower attacks mean it can't keep up with the top damage units. Dragon Cameraman goes the other way, attacking consistently but with a short range that makes careful placement important.
Support and Summon Units: Heals, Stuns and Extra Allies
Support units add little damage on their own, so their value comes from what they do for the units around them. Camera Repair Drone is the clearest case. It heals allies and removes stuns, which helps your damage dealers keep working, but it deals no damage, so its value depends on the units beside it.
Summon units work differently by bringing in allies of their own. Engineer Cameraman's summons can hold up waves, though its summon cycle can slow. Camera Helicopter's summons are durable and can delay waves, but its summon cycle is long and fixed, which limits how often you get that help.
Camera Spider deploys supporting units and attacks quickly. Its limited range is the trade-off to plan around.
Farm Units and the Early-Game Picks Worth Placing First
Farm units don't attack anything, but the money they generate pays for the units and upgrades that do. That makes them early priorities, since everything you add later depends on that income. Pumpkin Farmer is the stronger of the two farms, while Scientist Cameraman also generates money but produces less.
Early on, Dark Camerawoman's long reach is useful against the first enemies, though its low damage means you'll want to replace it later. Large TV Man is another early option, and its low damage makes it easy to swap out once stronger units arrive.
Titan TV Man, from B, is a reasonable mid-game area attacker while you build toward the S-tier units. Its damage is modest for a dedicated attacker, so think of it as a group clearer rather than a main damage source.
A Starting Team to Build Around in Cameraman Tower Defense
If you want a dependable core, start with Headless TV Man as your main damage unit. It's an S-tier area attacker that works across a range of situations, which makes it a sound choice to build around.
Add one second damage unit to pair with it. Titan TV Man doubles down on area damage for groups, while Titan Cameraman or Laser Cameraman Car gives you quicker attacks. Then add Pumpkin Farmer so the money keeps coming in for upgrades.
