Update 1 adds Paramita Pyre to Anime Zero's weapon chase, but rarity alone does not settle the choice. For overall PvE, Cursed King, Cataclysm, and Paramita Pyre form the S-tier weapon group. Cursed King is the safer raid pick, while Paramita Pyre and Cataclysm lean into damage, coverage, and shorter cooldowns.
For accessories, Blast Archer Wings and Blast Archer Crown share S tier. This list ranks 12 weapons and 14 accessories for Story, Endless, and raids. Anime Zero is still in active development, so treat this as an Update 1 snapshot rather than a permanent game rule.
How this Anime Zero tier list ranks weapons and accessories
These are editorial PvE tiers, not in-game rarity labels. Damage matters, but a weapon that gives you safer attack windows can outperform a harder-hitting option when a raid punishes mistakes.
| Criterion | How it affects the ranking |
|---|---|
| Damage and safety | Damage leads the ranking, with safer ability windows and invincibility frames carrying extra weight in raids. |
| Wave clear and coverage | Area coverage and fast clears matter across Story and Endless, including regular waves and bosses. |
| Cooldowns and consistency | Shorter cooldowns and consistent performance across a run lift an item above a more situational choice. |
| Mode fit and utility | Farming value, build utility, and the role an item fills in your loadout settle close calls. |
| Rarity | Rarity can explain access, but it does not decide the tier. |
You can equip two weapons and switch between them during a run. A slightly lower-ranked weapon can still earn a slot if it covers a weakness in your first pick. Put your next investment into the problem you see in your runs, whether that means a weapon, traits, skill-tree points, or accessory materials. Pair bonuses and accessory utility can make a complete loadout more useful than one high-tier item with no good partner. If you are still setting up that loadout, the Anime Zero beginner guide covers the basic weapon and accessory roles.

S Tier
| Image | Item | Category | Best use | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Cursed King | Weapon | Raids and all-around PvE | Safer attack windows and invincibility frames make it the most forgiving top weapon for difficult content. |
![]() | Cataclysm | Weapon | Damage, wave clear, and raids | Its damage, area coverage, and cooldown value keep it useful against groups and bosses. |
| Paramita Pyre | Weapon | Update 1 PvE damage | The Update 1 addition belongs in the top group for damage, coverage, and cooldown value. | |
![]() | Blast Archer Wings | Accessory | General farming and broad utility | It is the better S-tier choice when you want value across normal farming rather than a direct damage focus. |
![]() | Blast Archer Crown | Accessory | Direct damage and raids | It fits a damage-first build and is the more focused S-tier option for raid pressure. |
These three weapons are the short list for difficult PvE. Cursed King is the safer default because its invincibility frames give you more room during raid attacks. Choose Paramita Pyre or Cataclysm when damage, area coverage, or shorter cooldowns matter more.
Best Anime Zero weapons for raids, Endless, and Story
For raids, start with Cursed King if avoiding damage is your biggest problem. Paramita Pyre or Cataclysm fit players who can use their damage and coverage without needing the same safety margin.
The S group is also a strong starting point for Endless, but Dragon Eclipse gets its strongest argument here because it brings high damage even though it feels slower and exposes you more in raids. For Story, an S-tier weapon is not required. A B-tier weapon that clears waves consistently can be a better investment than a higher-ranked item that does not fit your playstyle.
You can also keep a working weapon in the second slot while chasing an upgrade. A pair that covers your run is more useful than one high-tier weapon beside a weak backup.
Blast Archer Wings vs. Blast Archer Crown in Anime Zero
Pick Blast Archer Wings when farming utility or broad run value matters. Pick Blast Archer Crown when direct damage and raid focus are the priority. Both are S-tier, so the choice is about the problem you want to solve, not a claim that one wins every mode.
A Tier
| Image | Item | Category | Best use | Why it stops below S |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Immortal Sovereign | Weapon | Strong general PvE damage | It is a strong A-tier pick, but the S group offers broader safety or raid consistency. |
![]() | Dragon Eclipse | Weapon | Endless and damage-focused runs | Its damage is attractive, but its slower raid feel and extra exposure make it less consistent there. |
![]() | Light Admiral Cloak | Accessory | Utility-focused builds | It is a useful A-tier alternative, but the S accessories cover broader farming or damage goals. |
![]() | Dark Captain Wings | Accessory | Combat-focused builds | Keep it when its build fit is better than the S options, but it has a narrower overall case. |
Immortal Sovereign and Dragon Eclipse can support strong runs, but the choice is more sensitive to how safely you can use the weapon. Dragon Eclipse is especially appealing in Endless, where its damage has more time to matter, while its slower feel costs more in raids. The A accessories work the same way: they are useful when their utility or combat profile matches your build better than the S pair.
B Tier
| Image | Item | Category | Best use | Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Lights of Divinity | Weapon | Story and Endless progression | Reliable for regular progression, but lower raid priority than the S and A weapons. |
![]() | Divine Emperor | Weapon | Story and Endless progression | It can do the job in normal content, but higher tiers give more safety or consistency in hard PvE. |
![]() | Panther Hollow Mask | Accessory | A mid-tier build need | Its value depends on the stat need it fills, so it has less broad appeal than the top accessories. |
![]() | Wind Spirit Wing | Accessory | A mid-tier build need | Keep it when the fit is right, but do not treat it as a general replacement for the S pair. |
![]() | Flame Pirate Hat | Accessory | A mid-tier build need | It fills a narrower role than the higher-ranked farming and damage choices. |
B is the practical holding tier. A B-tier weapon that clears Story or Endless is doing its job, and the three B accessories can fill a similar role when their stat profile fits your loadout. They rank below A and S because their usefulness depends more on the mode and build, not because they fail at normal progression.
C Tier
| Image | Item | Category | Best use | Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Twisted Agony | Weapon | A working early or mid-progression slot | It remains usable, but higher tiers offer better all-mode value and raid consistency. |
![]() | Rubber Man | Weapon | A working early or mid-progression slot | Keep it if it clears your content, but it is a lower investment priority than the B and higher groups. |
![]() | King's Gambit | Weapon | A usable second slot | It can fill a pair while you build your roster, but it gives up consistency to stronger options. |
![]() | Diva Headphones | Accessory | An interim accessory | Replace it when a higher tier solves the same build problem with more general value. |
![]() | SunGlasses | Accessory | An interim accessory | It is useful while building the set, but it is not a long-term priority beside the S and A options. |
![]() | 8th Brigade Fire Hat | Accessory | An interim accessory | Keep it for a real build need, then replace it when a broader upgrade appears. |
![]() | Kitsune Mask | Accessory | An interim accessory | Its general value is below the stronger farming, damage, and combat choices. |
C is a replacement target when a stronger or better-fitting roll arrives, but it is not a reason to abandon a working setup. Twisted Agony, Rubber Man, and King's Gambit can still cover an early or mid-progression weapon slot, while the accessories can fill a temporary build need.
D Tier
| Image | Item | Category | Best use | Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Cosmic Warrior | Weapon | Temporary progression or a second slot | It is one of the lowest investment choices in the ranked weapon set, especially for difficult PvE. |
![]() | Thunder Prodigy | Weapon | Temporary progression or a second slot | Keep it if it is what you have, but plan upgrades around the stronger groups. |
![]() | Leaf Shinobi Headband | Accessory | A temporary accessory | Its general value is limited, so it should not be a long-term material target. |
![]() | Capsule Scarf | Accessory | A temporary accessory | Replace it when a higher-tier option fits the same slot and mode. |
Cosmic Warrior and Thunder Prodigy are mainly temporary weapons or second-slot fillers. Leaf Shinobi Headband and Capsule Scarf fill the same role for accessories. Keep one if it lets you finish the content needed for the next upgrade, then replace it when the item itself is causing a failed boss window or slow wave clear.
F Tier
| Image | Item | Category | Best use | Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Gentleman's Top Hat | Accessory | Temporary use until a better accessory is available | It has the weakest general value in this list, so it is a replacement target rather than a material priority. |
F is a replacement signal, not an instruction to discard gear you still need. Use Gentleman's Top Hat until you have an accessory that improves the problem you are actually seeing in runs, then move your materials to the better fit.
How to use the Anime Zero tier list when your build is incomplete
Start with the role your current build is missing, then spend materials where that gap shows up.
- Keep both weapon slots useful. Equip the best pair you have and switch between them during a run. A strong primary with a dependable backup is a better starting point than waiting for one perfect roll.
- Match the next upgrade to the failure you can see. If raid attacks are ending your run, prioritize the safer Cursed King path. If waves take too long, look toward Cataclysm or Paramita Pyre. For the accessory choice, use the Wings-versus-Crown comparison above when the problem is farming utility or direct raid damage.
- Check the replacement's job before rerolling. A higher letter is useful when it also gives you the safety, wave coverage, farming value, or pair bonus your run lacks.
- Recheck the list after balance updates. Anime Zero is in active development, and future changes can move items between tiers or change which accessory fits a mode best.
