Violence District is a 5v1 survival horror match where five survivors share the map with one killer, and roles are drawn at random each round. The survivors are trying to get out alive, and the killer is trying to make sure nobody does.
As a survivor you spend the round getting five generators running, nailing the skill checks, and dropping pallets to stun the killer long enough to slip away, all while reviving teammates and judging when running beats repairing. Five finished generators power the exit gates. As the killer you hunt them down with a quick lunge attack and try to take out all five before they escape.

Killers:
Killers are the solo hunting role in Violence District. Each one changes the match through a different pressure style, from The Slasher's free ambush basics to The Cure's infection and minion snowball.
Items:
Survivor items are shop-bought loadout tools that change how you heal, track the killer, save teammates, escape pressure, or control space during a round.
Currency:
Currency in Violence District splits into regular match resources and unavailable event resources. Screws and Emblems drive normal shop spending, while Candies and Ornaments explain older Halloween and Christmas reward shops.
Perks:
Perks are survivor and killer loadout bonuses that shape chase, healing, rescues, aura reads, generator pressure, anti-heal, and window control before a round begins.
Emotes:
Violence District emotes are survivor taunts bought with Screws from matches or the rarer Emblems, with seasonal Halloween and Christmas shops adding event exclusives priced in expiring currencies. The shop's 5,000 and 6,000 Screw entries serve as long-term goals, while event emotes mark who survived which season. All are cosmetic, purely for style between chases.
Violence District Gameplay Tips
- Repair objectives with an exit plan. Greedy repairs are risky when the killer is close, especially because pallets are limited.
- Spend Screws around the side you play most. Killers, survivor items, emotes, and perk upgrades all pull from the same regular currency.
- Pick survivor items by job. Bandage and Motion Tracker are easier early, while Flashlight, Parrying Dagger, Gate, and Holy Water need timing or route knowledge.
- Treat perks as build pieces, not raw numbers. A speed, healing, aura, generator, or anti-heal perk only helps if you trigger it often in real rounds.
