Titles are nameplate flexes earned from monthly kill placement, not a fixed kill total. Hero characters show Hero Rank labels, monster characters show Monster Threat labels, and both ladders reset when monthly kills clear. They are not the same as Ranked ELO ranks that reuse words like Wolf or God.

Hero Rank Titles
Hero Rank titles show on hero-track characters. They climb C-Class, B-Class, A-Class, then S-Class from monthly kill placement only. Each step shares its cutoff with a Monster Threat name, so the grind work is the same even when the label looks different.
C-Class
Lowest Hero Rank title. Reach 2,000th place or higher on the monthly kills leaderboard while using a hero-track character. Same cutoff as the Wolf monster title.

Monster Threat Level Titles
Monster Threat titles show on monster-track characters. Wolf through Dragon mirror the Hero Rank cutoffs, then Cosmic Threat tightens monthly kills to top 50, and Calamity plus God move to Champions Leaderboard placement. These names also appear in Ranked ELO, but the kill-title version only cares about leaderboard rank, not duel rating.

Placement, not a kill quota
Your title comes from where you sit on the board, not from hitting some permanent kill number. Top 2,000 on monthly kills is enough for the entry title, then the cutoffs tighten: top 400, top 200, top 100, and top 50 for the higher Monster Threat steps. Exact kills needed change every month as the lobby fights harder, so chase the rank ceiling, not a magic kill count from last season.
When the month ends, monthly kills reset and earnable titles drop with them. You keep the bragging rights in chat if you want, but the nameplate only sticks if you place again. Treat each title as a seasonal badge, not a permanent unlock you grind once and forget.
Hero Rank vs Monster Threat
The game does not hand you both tracks at once for free. Equipped character archetype picks the label style. Hero-track characters (for example Saitama / The Strongest Hero) show C-Class through S-Class. Monster-track characters (for example Garou / Hero Hunter) show Wolf through God.
The lower rungs share placement cutoffs across tracks:
| Placement | Hero Rank | Monster Threat |
|---|---|---|
| Top 2,000 monthly kills | C-Class | Wolf |
| Top 400 monthly kills | B-Class | Tiger |
| Top 200 monthly kills | A-Class | Demon |
| Top 100 monthly kills | S-Class | Dragon |
Switching characters can change which name you see for the same placement work. If you main heroes for the ladder and monsters for fun, plan which nameplate you actually want before a long grind session.
Where Monster Threat keeps climbing
Hero Rank stops at S-Class (top 100 monthly kills). Monster Threat keeps going. Cosmic Threat needs top 50 on monthly kills. Calamity and God leave the normal monthly board and use the Champions Leaderboard instead: top 10 for Calamity, 1st through 5th for God.
That Champions jump is the real wall. Monthly kills grind gets you deep into the ladder, but the last two Monster titles ask for Champions placement on top of raw kill volume. If your goal is God, you stop casual public-server farming and fight for a tiny Champions window that resets with the season too.
Do not mix this with Ranked
Ranked 1v1 and 2v2 use an ELO ladder that reuses animal and disaster names: Wolf, Tiger, Demon, Dragon, Cosmic Threat, Calamity, God, and more. Those duel ranks come from ranked matches, not monthly kill placement. Earning Ranked Wolf does nothing for the Wolf kill title, and a Champions God title is not Ranked God. When someone says they hit Dragon, ask which board they mean before you start comparing grind paths.
Practical grind notes
- Check the in-game leaderboard header for how far you are from the next cutoff. The kill gap to next rank moves as other players farm.
- Pick one character track for a placement push so you are not surprised by the wrong nameplate style after a long session.
- For entry titles (C-Class / Wolf), consistent public-server play is usually enough. Mid titles need real monthly volume. Top 50 and Champions steps need focused sessions, not casual dabbling.
- Titles apply when earned. You can often show a kill title together with a separate duel title, so two nameplate layers can share the same look when the game allows both.
- Do not burn a whole month chasing last month's kill total. Re-check current placement often and stop when you are safely inside the cutoff you want, because the board can climb under you.
FAQ
How do you get titles in The Strongest Battlegrounds?
Place high enough on the monthly kills leaderboard, or on the Champions Leaderboard for Calamity and God. The game awards the matching Hero Rank or Monster Threat name based on your character track.
Do titles reset every month?
Yes. Earnable kill titles are tied to monthly placement. When monthly kills reset, you need to place again to keep the nameplate.
Why do I see C-Class instead of Wolf?
Your equipped character track picks the label. Hero-track characters show Hero Rank titles. Monster-track characters show Monster Threat titles. The placement cutoff can be the same either way.
Is Wolf the same as Ranked Wolf?
No. Wolf as a kill title is a monthly kill title. Ranked Wolf is a separate ELO rank from ranked duels. Same word, different systems.
How do you get God title?
Finish 1st through 5th on the Champions Leaderboard while on a monster-track character. It is the top Monster Threat step and resets with the seasonal board like the other earnable titles.
Is there a hero version of Cosmic Threat or God?
No. Hero Rank stops at S-Class. Cosmic Threat, Calamity, and God are Monster Threat extensions only.
