The paid path is the same spin wheel used for accessories. You can buy one, three, or five spins for Robux, and the wheel can land on unowned auras or accessories. Spins are random, so they are a shortcut, not a plan you can map kill by kill.
Climbing the kill ladder
Early auras sit close together, so progress feels steady once you clear a few thousand kills. Mid-band unlocks keep that pace through Burning at 10,000. After that, the ladder stretches hard: nothing new shows up until Shadow at 20,000, so if you are stuck between those totals, you are not missing a free aura. You are just in the long stretch.
From Shadow on, thresholds jump by thousands again. Love sits just under the dual unlock at 33,500, where Flower and Frozen both drop at the same kill total. Void is the top free threshold at 35,700. Plan farming around the next number you care about, not every step, because some gaps are long enough that a short session barely moves the needle.
What auras are not
A yellow or gold outline during a strong killstreak is a temporary server status, not a collectible aura. Glitchy "secret aura" looks that vanish when you die or leave are move residuals, not permanent cosmetics. If it does not stay in the Auras tab after you leave the server, it is not part of this progression.

Do auras give any combat advantage in The Strongest Battlegrounds?
No. Auras are cosmetic only. They change how your character looks and do not boost damage, defense, speed, or moves.
Are aura kills lifetime kills or killstreak kills?
Lifetime kills. Temporary killstreak effects, like a gold outline during a hot streak, are separate and do not unlock auras in the cosmetics menu.
Can I unlock auras without farming kills?
