All 15 Cabins and Displays in Survive the Killer

Updated on November 1, 2026 (3 days ago)

A cabin in Survive the Killer is a personal space where you display the knives and killers you own. Each one has its own amount of room and its own look, and players get them in a few different ways. Which cabin suits you depends on whether you care more about space for your collection or about how the place looks.

Which Survive the Killer cabin to pick: room or look

Cabins differ in two main ways: how much room they give your collection and how they look. Room matters most when your collection is bigger than the spots you have, because a full cabin leaves some of your knives and killers with nowhere to go. The Saloon is a good example of a cabin with more room than the free Basic Cabin, and its Western style adds plenty of character.

If you collect killers, Snow Castle is worth a close look. It leaves room for more killers than the Basic Cabin, the Saloon or the Direwick Tent, and its snowy castle design comes with a ladder that climbs to the roof.

If the look matters more than the room, the Direwick Tent is built around its theme. It's a small tent with Flotsam Direwick's head on the door, a spider-patterned carpet and a witch's potion corner.

How to get a cabin in Survive the Killer

Every new player starts with the Basic Cabin, which is free and given the first time you join. Some other cabins are sold in the shop for coins or gems, so you can save up for the one you want. Not every cabin works that way, though, since a few have their own requirements.

The Saloon needs Roblox Premium, which is a paid membership you get through Roblox rather than inside the game. The Merchant Cabin comes with the Trading VIP game pass. Event cabins came from special events and work differently.

Event cabins and what happens after the event

Some cabins, sometimes called limited cabins, were only available during a special event. Snow Castle came with the Christmas 2022 update, which made it the first event cabin added to the game. Direwick Tent came with the Direwick Festival 2023 update, and the Gingerbread Cabin was a reward for finishing the quests in Winter Event 2023. The Haunted Manor came from the 2024 Halloween event.

An event cabin you already own stays in your collection after its event ends. What ends is the route to get it. Once the event is over, that route is closed, and whether the cabin comes back later depends on what the game offers at the time.

The Merchant Cabin and the trading server

The Merchant Cabin has a special role in the trading server, where it's displayed outside the trading building. Because it sits in the place where trades happen, anyone in that server can see it there, which sets it apart from the cabins you pick for decor.

FAQ

Q.

Can you trade the Basic Cabin or the Merchant Cabin?

No. Neither one can be traded, so each stays with the account that got it.

Q.

What else comes with the Trading VIP pass?

Along with the Merchant Cabin, the pass gives both players extra trade slots during a trade, a title called "The Merchant," purple chat text in the trade server, and a killer morph you can use there.

Q.

What title came with the Gingerbread Cabin?

Finishing all the Winter Event 2023 quests earned the title "Ruler of the North" alongside the cabin.
