All 93 Achievements and What They Unlock in Shape of Dreams

Updated on November 1, 2026 (3 days ago)

Achievements in Shape of Dreams are goals you complete as you play, like healing a set amount of health, reaching a deep area in a single run, or winning with a certain build. Many of them unlock something useful, such as Travelers, the playable characters, or Memories and Essences, which are the skills and upgrades that shape how your Traveler fights. Tick each one off as you earn it to keep track of the full set.

What Shape of Dreams Achievements Unlock

Achievements are one of the main ways to unlock extra content in Shape of Dreams. Most of them give you a reward when you finish them, and rewards include Travelers, Memories, and Essences. Each Traveler fights in its own style, so every one you unlock opens a different way to approach a run. Memories are the skills your Traveler uses in a fight, and Essences are upgrades that attach to Memories and change how they work.

How Shape of Dreams Achievements Are Earned

The game tracks each goal for you and marks it complete when you meet its condition. The wording of each description tells you what kind of goal it is. Words like "in total" or "cumulative" mean progress adds up across your play, so you don't have to hit the full amount in one run.

Others ask you to pull off something within a single run, like reaching a deep area of the map or keeping a condition going for a few seconds. Some ask for a specific build, such as four Light Memories or four healing Memories. Restriction goals ask for a full win while avoiding something, such as using no Shrine of Guidance, no shields, or without slaying any Hunters. Read the full description before you start, because the restriction is the whole point of those goals.

Many achievements also name a Traveler, like Lacerta's BFR 9000 and Untouchable, or Mist's Go with the Flow. Those goals are built around that character, so play them on purpose when you want to chase one.

Which Shape of Dreams Achievements Matter Most

The Traveler unlocks matter most if you want variety. Lacerta and Mist are open without any achievement, but most of the other Travelers stay locked behind a specific goal. Each one plays differently, so every Traveler you add gives you another way to build a run.

The achievements that unlock Memories and Essences come next, since they give you more options within each build. They're worth finishing even if you have a Traveler you like, because the extra pieces change how that Traveler fights. Build and restriction goals take more planning, so it helps to know your Travelers well before going after them.

FAQ

Q.

Which achievements unlock Travelers?

Lacerta and Mist are open without any achievement, and the rest each have a goal of their own. Boundless Rage unlocks Vesper when you reach the Fragment of the Starry Sky, Horns, Feathers, and Gold unlocks Aurena after you heal 25,000 health in total, and Once Upon a Time unlocks Bismuth when you keep movement speed above 900 for 3 seconds.

The True Ruler of the Forest unlocks Nachia after you defeat the Demon of the Forest 12 times, and Pure Imagination unlocks Yubar once you collect 450 Dream Dust in total. Reactivated unlocks Shell when you breathe life into the wooden doll, and Leviathan on Land unlocks Cetus, which asks you to dig through eight snow piles in the snowy mountains.

Q.

What does The Eighth Trophy require?

The Eighth Trophy asks you to obtain Unique Memories or Essences from Heroic Bosses eight times. Only Unique ones count, so regular Memories and Essences won't move your progress along.

Q.

Which achievements involve the Pure White Dream?

Several do, and they ask you to reach the Pure White Dream in different ways. Some require reaching it with Bismuth, Shell, or Cetus, while others require reaching it on Nightmare difficulty. Keep that in mind when you choose a Traveler or difficulty for a run.
