Gear sets are groups of matching equipment in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, the role-playing game built around heroes. Wear matching pieces from one set on the same hero, and that hero gets a bonus to its stats. Each set changes how a hero fights in its own way, so the best one depends on whether you play PvE, meaning battles against monsters and bosses, or PvP, meaning battles against other players.

What Are Gear Sets in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH?
Each gear set is a named group of equipment, and every set comes as a Physical Weapon, a Magic Weapon and Armor. A hero who wears matching pieces from one set gets that set's bonus. Because the bonus applies only to the hero wearing the pieces, a set helps one hero at a time, not your whole team.
How Two-Piece and Four-Piece Bonuses Work
Every set has two tiers. Two matching pieces unlock the first, and four pieces unlock the second, which builds on the first bonus and adds a second effect. For example, the four-piece tier of the Orchestrator set gives a hero a turn of immunity to crowd control at the start of battle, which changes how that hero plays rather than only making its numbers bigger.
Reaching four pieces takes extra equipment slots on the hero, and you open those slots through Ultimate Enhancement. Until a hero has them, the four-piece tier is out of reach, so it helps to decide which hero gets a full set first.
How to Get Gear Sets From Raids and Sudden Raids
Each set drops from one regular Raid boss and one Sudden Raid boss. Destroyer Gaze and Calistra drop pieces for Vanguard, Bounty Tracker and Paladin. Ox King and Astrea drop pieces for Gatekeeper, Guardian and Assassin. Iron Devourer and Leonid drop pieces for Avenger, Spellweaver and Orchestrator.
Clearing a Sudden Raid rewards six-star equipment with a better chance at four substats, which are the extra stats that sit on top of a piece's main stat. A Sudden Raid is triggered by raid clears across the whole server, so once a set number of regular raids have been cleared across all players, one appears. Once it's triggered, the chance starts over.
Each entry uses one ticket, and you can get tickets from regular raids and the Honor Shop. After a Sudden Raid is triggered, it has a standby period, then a limited entry window, then a cooldown.
Best Gear Sets for PvE and PvP
Avenger is strong for PvE, especially once it's fully built. Its four-piece tier adds extra damage against bosses, which matters most in boss fights.
For PvP, the sets from Iron Devourer and Leonid are a common target, since they include Avenger, Spellweaver and Orchestrator. Spellweaver raises your effect hit rate, Orchestrator raises effect resistance, and both are common picks in PvP. That makes them a good fit for heroes that depend on status effects.
The Gatekeeper, Guardian and Assassin sets work on most heroes, which makes them a solid pick in the middle of the game.
Gear Sets for Attack and Defense Heroes
Attack-focused heroes do best with Vanguard, Bounty Tracker, Assassin or Avenger, since each one raises damage in its own way. Vanguard raises all attack, Bounty Tracker makes weakness hits land more often, Assassin raises critical hit chance, and Avenger raises damage dealt.
Heroes built to take hits fit Paladin, Gatekeeper, Guardian, Spellweaver or Orchestrator. Paladin adds maximum HP, Gatekeeper adds block rate and Guardian adds defense, while Spellweaver and Orchestrator are built around status effects.
FAQ
Can I mix two different sets on one hero?
Yes. Four pieces can split into two pairs from different sets, which gives you two two-piece bonuses. Or all four can come from one set for its four-piece bonus. Pick whichever suits what the hero needs.
What is Essence of Memories?
It's a crafting material you can earn as a Sudden Raid reward. Crafting with it guarantees a piece of equipment with four substats.
Can you choose which set a Sudden Raid drops?
Partly. Before you enter a Sudden Raid, you can select two set effects and four main stats, which cuts down on the randomness of the gear you get.
