Career is the main story mode of PowerWash Simulator, where you start by cleaning a van and work through cleaning jobs one after another. The Career jobs range from locations like the Bungalow and the Ferris Wheel to vehicles like the Dirt Bike and the Fire Helicopter, and each one pays money and stars for the work you do.

What Are PowerWash Simulator Career Jobs?
Career jobs make up the main story, and they mix locations with vehicles. The locations include places like the Playground, the Carousel and the Temple, while the vehicles run from the Van and the Dirt Bike to the Monster Truck and the Fishing Boat, across land, water and air.
Bonus jobs are a separate set of special levels in the Career category. They aren't part of the main story, so you don't need them to progress. Each one has a limited amount of equipment, and finishing one earns the Side Hustle achievement.
How PowerWash Simulator Career Jobs Unlock
You don't get all the jobs at once. New ones open as you make progress on the jobs you already have: reaching a set number of stars on one job opens the next. The Van is the first job, and it's where the game teaches you the main controls and tools. After that, the Back Garden opens several more: the Dirt Bike at 1 star, the Playground at 3 and the Bungalow at 5.
How Stars Work and What They Unlock
Stars show how much of a job you've finished, and a fully cleaned job gives you five. Your running total also decides what you can buy, since stronger power washers unlock as it climbs: the Urban X U2 at 15 stars, the Prime Vista 3000 at 40 and the Prime Vista PRO at 90.
The Prime Vista PRO's Triple Tip Nozzle needs 165 stars, and reaching 5, 50, 100 and 150 stars each earns an achievement. Stopping partway still earns stars for what you finished, but a full clean gets you the most from each job.
How Money Works in Career Mode
Each job pays money for the items you clean, and that cash is what you spend on gear. Most gear has a price, from washers and extensions to nozzles, cleaning liquids, gloves and outfits. Cleaning liquids come in limited stock, and the shop restocks them as you unlock more Career jobs. Finishing every Career job doesn't pay enough to buy the whole shop, so you'll need extra money from replays and bonus jobs to buy everything.
Which Career Jobs Matter Most
A few jobs stand out for what they unlock or where they sit in the story. Mayor's Mansion matters because unlocking it opens the Extra Long extension in the shop.
The Lost City Palace is the final job, and finishing it completes Career Mode and earns the As It Was Foretold achievement.
Replaying Career Jobs in Free Play and Challenge Mode
Once you've finished a Career job, you can play it again in Free Play. Replays pay a reduced amount, which is 25 percent of what the job's details paid in Career. Some Career jobs also appear in Challenge Mode, where you have to finish within a time or water limit, and earning gold medals there unlocks its own achievements.
Can You Play Career Jobs With a Friend?
Yes. Career supports campaign co-op for up to two players, so you and a friend can take on the jobs together. Your partner earns 25 percent of each job's total.
FAQ
Do Career jobs have to be cleaned in a set order?
Not strictly. Several jobs often open at the same time, so you can pick which one to do next, and the order you play them in can differ a little from someone else's.
Are there achievements for how you clean certain Career jobs?
Yes. Several of them depend on finishing one part of a job first or last. Impeccable Balance asks you to stand on the Penny Farthing for 10 seconds, Gutted asks you to clean the Bungalow gutters last, and Sole Task asks you to clean the Shoe House's sole last.
