In PowerWash Simulator, a relaxing cleaning game, you run your own pressure washing business in the filthy town of Muckingham. Each job gives you something to clean, such as a car, a house or a playground, and your task is to spray off the grime until the surface is clean again. Career has no time limit or final score, so you can take each job at your own pace.
Each job has five stars that fill up as you clean it, so a fully clean job earns all five. Reaching set star counts opens new jobs, so finishing jobs keeps your list growing. Your total Career star count also unlocks stronger washers in the shop.
You earn cash from your jobs and spend it in the shop on washers, nozzles, extensions and cleaning liquids. A friend can join you online to help with Career jobs, and once a job is finished, you can replay it in Free Play. Free Play replays pay 25 percent of the Career job's total detail value, so they're better for practice than for cash.

Washers and Nozzles
Power washers are the machines you use to clean in PowerWash Simulator, from light duty to professional. Every washer comes with the same standard nozzles that trade spray width for force, from the wide white 40° fan to the narrow red 0° stream. The turbo, soap, and Triple Tip nozzles add more options, and the soap nozzle needs cleaning liquids to work.

Career Jobs
Career is the main story mode of PowerWash Simulator, made up of locations and vehicles across land, water and air. New jobs open as you earn stars on the jobs you already have, and a fully cleaned job earns five. The final job is the Lost City Palace, and completing it finishes Career Mode. Bonus jobs sit outside the story and aren't required to progress.
Bonus Jobs
Bonus Jobs are optional extra cleaning levels that sit outside PowerWash Simulator's main Career story. They include the original jobs that started as Specials and the jobs added by the free Muckingham Files parts. Finishing any one of them earns the Side Hustle achievement.

PowerWash Simulator gameplay tips
- Press Tab on PC to highlight the dirt you missed. Small patches are easy to overlook on a surface that looks clean, and the highlight shows any grime still hiding there.
- Match the nozzle to the dirt. Spray light dirt with the white 40-degree nozzle first, since it covers the most ground and loosens the grime. Save the red 0-degree nozzle for small, stubborn patches, because it is the strongest but covers the least area.
- Match the cleaning liquid to the surface. Each liquid works best on the material it's made for: glass, metal, plastic, stone, wood or multi-purpose. Liquids are limited in Career, and the shop restocks them as new jobs unlock, so it pays to pick the right one the first time.
- Clean each object fully before you move on. Missed spots, like the back of a tire, are easy to skip when the rest looks spotless. A job only earns all five stars once every part is clean, so one patch left behind holds it back.
- Get the Extra Long extension after the Mayor's Mansion job unlocks. It appears in the shop at that point, and it gives you more reach for high or far-off spots.
