PlateUp! is a restaurant game where one to four players cook, serve and wash up over runs of 15 in-game days. Wallpapers and floors are the decor that changes how each room looks, covering its walls and its floor. They're a simple way to make your restaurant feel like your own, and you can swap them for new designs later.

What Wallpapers and Floors Are in PlateUp!
Wallpapers and floors are decorations that change how a room looks. A wallpaper roll changes the walls, and a flooring box changes the floor tiles. They're separate items, so swapping one never touches the other.
They're purely cosmetic. A new design won't change how cooking, serving or customers work, so picking one comes down to taste. That makes them a low-stakes way to give your restaurant a look you like while you focus on running service.
How to Put Wallpaper or Flooring in a Room
Walk into the room you want to change, then apply the design with the Wallpaper Applicator for walls or the Flooring Applicator for floors. The new design takes over that room straight away.
Can You Remove Wallpaper and Flooring in PlateUp!?
You can't take wallpaper or flooring off a room. You can only swap it for a different design, and each choice stays until you swap it again. That makes it worth picking designs you actually like.
Where New Wallpapers and Floors Come From
Wallpapers and floors aren't blueprints, so they cost no coins and can't be stored in a cabinet or rerolled. New ones come from decoration days. The first arrives on Day 6 of a run, and another comes every fifth day after that. On a decoration day, the game offers three wallpaper styles and three flooring styles at random, and all of them are free to take.
A room's original design is gone for good once you replace it, and it never comes back. After that, each swap is an exchange: the design you're holding goes onto the room, and the one that was there comes off into your hands.
FAQ
Does swapping a wallpaper or floor change other rooms?
No. A swap only touches the room you're in, so the rest of your restaurant keeps its look. You can update your rooms one at a time.
How many decoration days are in a PlateUp! run?
The standard 15 days include two, on Day 6 and Day 11. If the run carries on into Overtime, another arrives on Day 16 and every fifth day after that.
Can I choose the wallpaper or flooring I want?
Not directly. Each decoration day offers its own random mix, so the design you have in mind may not show up until a later decoration day.
