In The Planet Crafter, you crash-land on a hostile world and spend the game turning it into a livable place. That work doesn't stop at one world. The game spans several planets and moons, from Prime, where the base game starts you, to Skeo, a late-game moon. Finishing a world is what unlocks the rocket that takes you to the others.

What Are the Planets and Moons in The Planet Crafter?
Prime, Humble and Toxicity are the planets. Prime comes with the base game and is the world the game starts you on. Humble and Toxicity are added through paid expansions, and each plays differently from the starting world. Humble is about half the size of Prime, and Toxicity is a little smaller, so both feel more compact.
Selenea, Aqualis and Skeo are the moons. Selenea and Aqualis arrived with the free Moons Update, and Skeo followed as another free update. You reach a moon by rocket just like a planet, and you terraform it the same way. Their terrain and resources differ from world to world, so what worked on Prime may need rethinking on a moon.
How Terraforming Works on Each Planet and Moon
Terraforming is the main job on every world. Machines raise the planet's oxygen, heat, and air pressure, and the game tracks your progress with a score called the Terraformation Index. As those levels climb, the surface becomes livable for plants and animals, and the world is finished once the index reaches its goal.
Each planet and moon has its own goal, so finishing one leaves the others untouched. Every world you want to use needs its own full run through the process.
How to Reach the Moons and Other Planets
Travel starts with an Extraction Platform, the launch pad your rocket leaves from. Once it's built, you construct an Interplanetary Travel Rocket on it and pick your destination. Your inventory, equipment, and known blueprints all come with you, so you don't lose what you've learned.
You can only leave a world once you've fully terraformed it, and Skeo opens after any of Prime, Toxicity, Humble or Selenea is finished. Coming back means building another travel rocket, so plan for the materials before you leave.
Starting a new game is the other way in. Prime, Humble, Toxicity, and Selenea all appear on the new-game screen, but Aqualis and Skeo don't, so they can only be reached from a save you already have. Starting fresh on a world creates a separate save, and the developers suggest starting on Selenea only if you're an experienced player.
If you play with friends, everyone needs to be on the same world at the same time, so plan trips together.
Which Planet or Moon to Visit First
There's no required order, but some worlds make more sense early. Prime comes first in the base game. Humble is a natural next step, since it's about half the size of Prime and leaves less ground to cover.
Selenea is free to reach and doesn't need any DLC, so you can try it without buying anything extra. Skeo is built as later-game content, so it fits best once you're well into a run.
Sending Resources Between Planets and Moons
Once you have more than one world in play, the Interplanetary Exchange Shuttle lets you move resources from one world to another. That saves you from gathering the same materials on every planet and moon. You can also automate the transfers with a Planetary Delivery Depot, so supplies keep moving without you carrying each load.
The shuttle takes real investment to build, so it pays off most when you're working on several worlds at the same time. Until then, carrying what you need yourself is usually the simpler route.
FAQ
Do I need to own the DLC to play Humble or Toxicity with friends?
Not everyone does. Only one copy of each DLC is needed for co-op, so if one person in your group owns Humble or Toxicity, the whole group can play there together.
Does terraforming keep going on a world I've left?
Yes. Terraforming continues on any world you've already visited, so a planet you left keeps moving toward its goal while you work somewhere else.
What makes Skeo different from the other moons?
Skeo can't be picked as a new game, so you reach it from an existing save once another world is finished. It adds its own species, amber-rich caves, an underground building module and the Stellarcheo spacesuit.
