All 39 Maps, Modes and Hazards in Party Animals

Updated on November 6, 2026 (about 8 hours ago)

Party Animals maps are the arenas, race tracks and hangouts where you play. Each one is built for a certain kind of game, so you might fight to be the last animal standing on a broken ship deck, race karts through a city, or team up to clear sand from a sandstorm-hit town. Some maps are simply places to hang out with friends.

How Party Animals Maps Work

Each map has a match type, and that type sets what you are trying to do there. Some matches are last-one-standing fights, some are team games where you earn points, some are kart races, and some are hidden-role challenges or co-op missions. Knowing the match type first tells you whether to focus on fighting, racing, or working with your team toward a goal.

Party Animals groups its maps into modes. Classic is the standard mode and holds last-one-standing arenas and team goal games. The other modes are SMASH, Nemo Kart, Crisis, Infection, Mission, and Lab, and a map can belong to more than one of them. Blacksails, for example, belongs to Lab and Mission.

How to Get Onto a Party Animals Map

In Quick Match, once a game is found, the players in it can vote on one of a few random maps, and the winning pick is played. If you want a certain map, Custom Game gives you more say. The lobby owner can choose the map and switch it during a game without leaving the current game.

Some Lab maps, including Final Destination and the Lab version of Blacksails, are played through Custom Game. SMASH works differently, with six rounds that each pick a random Last Stand arena, so the map changes as the game goes on. That means you can't count on one arena for the whole match.

Last Stand Arenas

Last Stand plays like a battle royale. Fighters try to be the last ones standing, so staying alive matters, but the arena is part of the fight too. Bridges lose planks, ice breaks apart, and water rises, so where you stand matters as much as who you hit.

Several arenas are built around a hazard that changes the ground or the air. Winter is Coming pairs freezing snowstorms with bonfires that can go out, and Wind Tunnel's fans push fighters across a slick floor. In Blackhole Lab, the black hole pulls in fighters and loose objects, so grabbing something heavy helps you avoid getting dragged in.

Ichiban needs its own mention. Fighters stay inside an ancient temple while toxic gas rises around it as the match goes on. Leaving the temple or staying in the gas too long means death, so the best approach is to stay inside, avoid the gas, and throw opponents into it or off the map. If someone throws you off, climb the wall to get clear of the gas.

Team Score Maps

Team Score games are about teamwork and points. Each team completes tasks to earn points, and the first team to reach the score limit wins. If the clock runs out first, the team with more points takes the match.

The goal changes from map to map. Some play like capture the flag, where you carry special items back to your own base. Others are ball games, where you take things to the opponents' base instead.

Reading the goal first tells you what to focus on, since each map's traps and tools serve that goal. On Fluffy Redemption, for example, teams feed coal into a furnace to push their train ahead, and pulling the brake levers slows the train down.

Nemo Kart Tracks

Nemo Kart maps are racing tracks, and the goal is simple: finish ahead of the other karts. The tracks range from snowy mountains to city streets, so each one feels different to drive. Shortcuts and power-ups show up across several of them, so they are worth learning early.

The Shanghai tracks are full of power-ups and shortcuts, and the night version adds glowing landmarks. Snowville has slippery turns and hidden shortcuts, while Formula Wild uses moving vehicles and ramps that let drivers glide over hazards.

Crisis and Infection Maps

Crisis and Infection are hidden-role modes, which means not everyone is on the same side. In Crisis, crewmates work together to reach their destination while hidden killers try to stop them. Factory Crisis has the crew moving through factory rooms, and Space Crisis puts them on a spaceship where the hidden killers can sabotage the journey.

Desert Crisis is a Crisis map with a different goal. Players work together to clear sand from a town hit by a sandstorm before time runs out, and a mysterious ritual circle sits in Deadwood Park.

In Infection, one animal starts out infected and spreads it as other players are caught. The goal is to infect every Goodie, which means the players who aren't infected.

Party Animals Missions

Missions are story-style challenges where you fight through the game's enemies. Blacksails has players free Nemo and Max aboard a pirate ship, then battle waves of pirates and a Kraken. The goal is to defeat the pirate crew and sink the opposing ship.

The missions were introduced as solo challenges, and Blacksails can also be played with a friend at different difficulty levels. Castaway starts with Nemo stranded on an island after his ship sinks. You work through the pirate base past poisonous gas, rolling boulders, collapsing bridges, and traps before you can defeat Garfat.

Cabins and Lab Maps

Cabins are social hubs rather than match maps, so there is no match to win. Winter Cabin offers table games, fishing, and a jukebox, while Autumn Cabin adds autumn scenery, an aquarium, and lakeside fishing. The cabins change their look with the seasons.

Lab is a mixed label. It covers Final Destination, a train station arena built around passing trains, as well as Infection and the Crisis maps.

FAQ

Q.

Is Castaway the same as Cast-A-Way?

No. Castaway is a mission, while Cast-A-Way is a Nemo Kart race track with its own racing routes and obstacles. The names are close, but they belong to different modes.

Q.

Which Last Stand arenas can show up in SMASH?

Nearly all of them. JAWS is the exception, since it belongs only to Classic.

Q.

What is the goal on Final Destination?

Players knock opponents onto the tracks so that passing trains hit them ten times. Eliminated players respawn in the arena, so a knocked-out player can get back into the fight.

Q.

Which Team Score maps are ball games?

Beast Football, Beast Hockey, Beast Soccer, and Buzz Ball all have teams sending a large ball or puck into a goal. In Beast Soccer, the ball can't be carried and must be hit.
