No More Room in Hell 2 is a co-op zombie survival game for up to eight players. You play as a responder working through infested areas, and your weapons fall into firearms and melee weapons. Each group has its own job in a fight, and knowing when to reach for each one matters over a full run.

What weapons are in No More Room in Hell 2
Firearms cover pistols, a revolver, a submachine gun, rifles, a battle rifle and shotguns, so you can match a gun to close fights or long shots. Melee weapons are everyday items you find on the map, like pipes, wrenches, hammers, axes, knives and baseball bats. They come in one-handed and two-handed types.
Explosives are a separate case. The options include the M67 frag grenade, the pipe bomb and the Molotov cocktail.
How ammo works
Ammo is limited, so every shot has a cost. Each gun uses a specific caliber, which means ammo you find only helps the guns that take it, although some calibers are shared between guns. Guns you find also spawn with varying amounts of ammo depending on difficulty, so check what's loaded before you count on one.
Guns or melee: which to use when
Gunfire can draw zombies toward you from a distance, so a single shot in a busy area can bring a crowd your way. Melee weapons suit a lone zombie or a quiet route through the map. They stay quiet and need no ammo, so they're a good default when no crowd is around. Guns are the better answer when a group is closing in or a zombie is out of reach of a swing, and it pays to save shots for those moments.
When a zombie gets too close, you can shove or kick it back to make room. Shoving costs stamina, so keep an eye on your stamina before you start a fight.
How to find and get weapons
Most weapons come from the map, and guns and melee tools spawn throughout mission areas. You can pick them up without any unlock, so whatever you find is usable right away. Stronger gear tends to turn up deeper into a mission, so keep looking as you move through the map.
Supplies your team brings to extraction turn into Credits, and Credits can buy gear for your starting loadout in future runs.
Attachments and optics
Attachments such as scopes, suppressors, and muzzle, barrel and side parts fit onto guns to change how they handle and sound. Each type does something different, so it's worth knowing what you want from a gun before you pick one.
Scopes and sights help you aim, especially at range. Muzzle brakes and compensators cut recoil, laser sights tighten your shots when you fire from the hip, and shotgun chokes make shotguns deadlier at medium range.
FAQ
Which guns share ammo?
Ammo you find for one gun also works for another when they share a caliber. The M9A3 and MP5A4 both take 9mm, the Model 13 and Rochester 1873 both use .357 Magnum, and the M14 Battle Rifle and Hunter 85 both fire .308. The MC-15 and Gruber Ranch both use 5.56 NATO, the Gruber MKVII and Gruber 922 both use .22 LR, and all the shotguns take 12-gauge shells. The M1911A1 (.45 ACP) and M7A1 (6.8x51mm) are the only guns with a caliber of their own, so their ammo only ever feeds one gun.
What weapons do you start with in No More Room in Hell 2?
Every responder starts with the Model 13 revolver and the Mallet. That gives you a gun and a melee weapon before you find anything on the map.
What is the best melee weapon in No More Room in Hell 2?
It depends on what you need. The Fire Axe has the hardest-hitting melee attacks, while the Hockey Stick has the longest reach. The Sledgehammer and Fire Axe are the heaviest melee weapons, so weight is worth thinking about when you pick one.
