Murder Duels is a Roblox game where players step onto duel pads and fight head-to-head with a knife and a revolver. Weapon skins are cosmetic looks for those two weapons, so a skin changes how your knife or revolver looks. Skins fall into two groups, knives and guns, and players collect them and trade them with each other. Knowing what the rarity labels and value numbers mean will help you pick the right skin, whether you're collecting for style or planning a trade.

How to Get Weapon Skins
The Shop sells weapon skins, cases, and other cosmetics for in-game coins. You earn coins by playing matches, so time spent in duels is how you build up what you can buy. A case is a purchase that contains cosmetic skins, which makes it another way to get a skin, even though a case isn't a weapon skin itself.
Trading with other players is the other main route. It lets you get a specific skin from someone else, which is useful when you're after one particular look.
What Rarity Labels Mean for Knife and Gun Skins
Each skin carries a rarity label, and you'll see Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Secret, Collectible, and Exclusive. The label describes how a skin is classed, while the value tells you what it's worth. You shouldn't judge a skin's price by its label alone.
Collectible is a rarity label, not a weapon type, so Collectible skins can be knives or guns. Exclusive is a label too, and it appears on skins such as Champion's Knife and Money Gun. Read the label alongside the group the skin belongs to, rather than on its own.
How Murder Duels Skin Values Work
A skin can have a value, a recent average price, and a copy count. The value is the number to go by. RAP, short for Recent Average Price, is the average of recent booth sales, and Exist is how many copies of that skin exist.
Values come from one of two systems, depending on the skin's price level. Lower-priced skins follow booth sales directly. A new skin, or one that rarely sells, starts with a value the team sets until enough real sales come in, and after that each sale nudges the value a little toward its price. On these skins, the RAP is the value, and staff don't set the numbers by hand. Higher-priced skins are set by staff using real trade activity, and the RAP still appears for comparison, but the value is the figure that counts.
Untradeable vs Unvalued: What to Check Before Trading
Two tags tell you what to expect before a trade, and they mean different things. An Untradeable skin can't be traded to another player. That tag appears on several Exclusive skins, including Champion's Knife, OG, and Money Gun, so skip those when trade value is what you're after.
An Unvalued skin has no assigned value. Unvalued only means that, so it doesn't tell you whether a skin can be traded.
Exact names matter too. Some names repeat across groups, so Shedletsekkar appears as both a knife and a gun, and each one is its own entry. Check the exact name, the weapon group, and both tags before you offer or accept a trade.
FAQ
How do I request a value change?
Only higher-priced skins can have their value changed through a request. Submit a Value Request and include one of your own trades as evidence. Lower-priced skins can't be requested, because their values come from booth sales rather than from staff.
Can I trade with a friend to raise a skin's value?
No. Faking or manipulating sales or trades to push a value up, including trades with friends, is treated as a serious violation. It can result in a trade ban.
