In Love and Deepspace, you fight alien Wanderers and romance a cast of love interests. It's a free otome game, a story game built around romance. You play as a Deepspace Hunter whose name and appearance you customize, and you live in Linkon City. Alien creatures called Wanderers attack the city, and as a Hunter your job is to fight them and keep people safe.
A typical session mixes story, battle, and romance. The story moves forward through chapters with fully voiced 3D scenes, and in battle one love interest fights at your side, using their support skills to help you through the fight. Battles are real-time, and they also give you the materials you need to upgrade your Memory cards. Between fights, you spend time with your love interests, and that time builds affinity, which is your relationship level with each of them.
Over time, your goals are to move the story forward and grow closer to love interests like Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus, and Caleb. You draw their Memory cards through Wish, a random draw often called gacha, and Diamonds, which you earn through daily tasks, can buy draws. Protocores, which you get from Core Hunt battles, boost a card's stats once equipped, so stronger cards make the next battles easier. Higher relationship levels unlock more romantic moments, so the cycle of fight, upgrade, and romance keeps going.

Love Interests
Love and Deepspace's love interests are Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus and Caleb. All of them can be romanced, and each one fights alongside the player in battle using a different Evol power type. Affinity grows separately with each love interest through daily messages, dates and memory cards, and it unlocks new chapters and romantic scenes.
Protocores
Protocores are power cores that boost Memory cards in Love and Deepspace. A core only fits a Memory with a matching Stellactrum color and the right Solar or Lunar position, and Protocores unlock after you finish Main Story 4-13. Core Hunt is the main source, where each of its three areas drops two colors on set days.

Battle Companions
Battle companions are the battle forms each love interest takes in Love and Deepspace, such as Xavier: Lumiere and Caleb: Netherlord. Each love interest has several forms, and each one unlocks separately through the base form, story progress, enough 4-star or higher Memories, or a Memory Pair. Every form brings its own skills into battle, so the form you bring changes how your team fights.
Love and Deepspace gameplay tips
- Finish the Training Room before the harder battles. You'll find it under Battle, and each tutorial you clear for the first time pays out a small Diamond reward. Dodge and Shield Break are the most useful lessons, because Shield Break teaches you to interrupt enemy attacks with your skills, which cuts the damage you take.
- Dodge as soon as an enemy's target area changes color. Purple means lightning and red means a strong melee attack, so the warning gives you a moment to step clear. Keep an eye on your surroundings too, since you'll often face several Wanderers at once.
- Save your strongest moves for the right enemies. The active skill costs one star and suits groups, while the Resonance skill costs two and suits a single tough enemy. The partner's special attack hits hardest but charges slowest, so keep it for the toughest fights. Attacking refills the star bar, so your skills come back as you fight.
- Upgrade your Memory cards before you enter a battle. You can't upgrade during combat, and each battle lists a recommended Memory level. You can still win below that level, but a higher one improves your chances. Battles are timed, so stronger cards help you deal damage faster.
- Claim your free stamina twice a day. Open Agenda, go to the Supply tab, and claim between 10:00 and 14:00, then again between 16:00 and 20:00, server time. Stamina powers farming battles, so the free claims give you more upgrade materials without spending anything.
