In House Flipper, you buy damaged homes, fix them up and sell them for a profit. You play a one-person renovation crew, so you handle all of the work yourself, from cleaning and painting to knocking down walls. You start with small jobs for neighbors, since you need cash before you can afford your first house.
Your work happens in two places: your office computer and the house itself. From the computer, you accept client requests or buy a property. Requests can be anything from redoing a bedroom to cleaning a garage. Either choice sends you straight to the lot, where you use tools like a paint roller, mop, plaster tool, and hammer to clean, paint, install fixtures, and tear down or build walls. Your tablet keeps track of what each job needs.
Once a home is finished, you sell it, and the profit lets you buy bigger and better properties. Using your tools also earns skill points, which you spend on perks that save time or raise your pay. A clean, complete home brings in more money when it sells, which is why the small details matter.

Jobs
Jobs are the renovation requests that drive House Flipper, each one a checklist of work on a client's house. Base game, Apocalypse and Garden jobs come as emails in the in-game mailbox, while HGTV, Luxury, Pets, Farm and Dine Out jobs are picked from a map. Pay depends on a job's size and how fully it's finished, and finishing jobs often unlocks the houses you can buy and flip.
Properties
Buyable properties are the houses and buildings you purchase, renovate and sell for profit in House Flipper. The base game includes a set of them, and most DLC packs add more, with some unlocking only after you finish their jobs. Each one is sold to a buyer whose needs it meets or kept as your office, and once you've bought and sold every property you can reach, all of them can be bought again.
House Flipper gameplay tips
- Spend early skill points on Higher Payment. It raises the base pay of each job, so you save up for your first house faster.
- Take Penetrating Vision next. It shows hidden dirt on your minimap, so you can max out your cleanliness rating and earn more from each job.
- Accept jobs that need a tool you don't own yet. Some tools stay locked until a job calls for them, such as a wall-demolition job that unlocks the demolishing tool. Extra tools let you bring a home to 100% instead of leaving it half done.
- Shop from the tablet's task links. Selecting a task opens the store with the items it needs, which skips the crowded full buy menu. That keeps you from grabbing a look-alike faucet or tile by mistake.
