Vehicles in GTA IV Story Mode are Liberty City and Alderney traffic you borrow from streets, lots and service fleets to move between missions. The roster separates lookalike sedans, gang paint and service variants into their own entries so the image and category together tell you which car you are actually looking at.

Finding vehicles in Liberty City
Take vehicles from traffic, parked locations, mission rewards or service fleets. Dealerships can contain stealable cars, but their websites do not offer player purchases. A listed location is a source-reported spawn area; traffic and parked stock can vary.
Reading performance and values
The top-speed field records game-file data. Real driving results depend on the game’s physics, road and vehicle condition. Monetary value is an internal value, not a shop price. Stevie’s repeat sale amount applies after his thirty requests are complete.
Special models
Police, emergency and industrial vehicles have fleet or response spawns. Boats and helicopters use their own moorings and landing sites. The cable car is rideable as a passenger but cannot be driven. Separate vehicle models retain separate rows; the subway’s distant low-detail model is not a second player vehicle.
The rusted Sabre, Vigero and Emperor and the FlyUS Feroci and Perennial are included as distinct models. Each variant has its own GTA IV image alongside model and spawn notes.
FAQ
Is this GTA Online?
No. This roster is GTA IV Story Mode in Liberty City and Alderney. GTA Online uses a separate vehicle set and economy.
Why do some cars look like duplicates?
The game keeps separate entries for shared names that use a different body, gang paint, emergency fit or mission flag. The category and image together show which variant you have.
Can I keep any vehicle I find?
You can keep many road cars at safehouse parking, but service, emergency and special variants are less reliable to store. If a row notes a fixed or mission spawn, expect it to be harder to keep than normal traffic.
Where do emergency and taxi vehicles spawn best?
They favour their buildings. Check police stations, firehouses, hospitals and taxi ranks before hunting them in random traffic.
