All 30 Cheats in Grand Theft Auto IV

Cheats in Grand Theft Auto IV are phone numbers you dial from Niko phone keypad. Enter the digits exactly as listed, then reuse the accepted code from the Cheats menu while keeping a clean save for trophies.

How to enter a cheat

Open the phone, switch to the keypad, type the full number including the leading 555, and place the call. A correct entry applies immediately and adds the code to the Cheats list so you can reuse it without retyping. The mnemonic letters such as GUN or CAR help you remember the number, but the digits are what the game checks.

Test cheats in free roam and keep a save from before you started. Some codes change weather, weapons, or wanted level in ways that linger after the call.

Choose the right effect group

Player and weapon effects cover health, armor, ammo, and weapon sets. Weather and police effects change world state such as storms or wanted pressure. Vehicle effects spawn a specific model nearby, so a clear street or open water gives the best result.

Match the effect name to the row before you dial. Spawn codes look similar at a glance, but a Turismo and a Bullet GT are not the same car and appear in different places.

Platform and trophy notes

Cheat numbers shown here are for the main Grand Theft Auto IV phone system. Episode entries for The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony use separate numbers and are marked per row. If you are hunting achievements or trophies, reload a save made before any cheat use rather than trusting a session that has already accepted a code.
