Gray Zone Warfare is a tactical shooter set on the island of Lamang, and vendors are the traders you visit to buy and sell gear and pick up tasks. Your standing with each one decides what you can buy and which jobs open up, so they play a big part in how you get stronger. The vendors are Handshake, Gunny, Lab Rat, Artisan, Turncoat, Banshee, and Vulture, the black-market dealer. Once you know how they work, it's much easier to decide where to spend your time and your money.

How Gray Zone Warfare Vendors Work
A vendor is part shop and part job board. You can buy gear from them, sell what you find, and take tasks that pay out in money and reputation.
Vendors don't carry everything, though. Many weapons and plenty of other gear only show up as loot out in the world, so you'll still need to search for some of your kit.
Each vendor carries its own mix of gear. Handshake leans toward Western gear, while Artisan focuses on civilian equipment and storage containers. At the lowest vendor level, the stock is basic, and better equipment opens up as you advance.
How Vendor Reputation Works
Reputation is how a vendor decides what to show you. You build it by finishing tasks and trading items, and smuggling runs and hunting smugglers can add to it too.
Reputation also drives your vendor level. Each new level opens up more dangerous and profitable tasks, along with better weapons and gear. Since each trader opens different tasks and stock, it pays to build standing with a few traders instead of pushing a single one to the top.
Stims, Tracking Tags, and the Hideout
Stims and Tracking Tags can't be bought from vendors, so you craft them instead. That puts more weight on the Hideout, which comes with its own lab and electronics workshop.
The lab turns out medical products and drugs, and it gives you a source of semi-passive income. Goods you make can be sold straight to vendors, so the Hideout gives you something to trade as well as something to use.
FAQ
Where do I find Vulture in Gray Zone Warfare?
Vulture is on the regular vendor screen, so you can reach him at base camp or at a Combat Outpost, the same way you reach the other traders. Like them, he levels up through reputation.
What rank unlocks the Hideout in Gray Zone Warfare?
Reaching Rank 2 with both Lab Rat and Artisan unlocks the Hideout. That's the milestone to aim for if you want to craft Stims and Tracking Tags.
Which vendor opens the Hideout smuggling tasks?
Banshee does. Reaching Rank 3 with Banshee opens the Hideout smuggling tasks, so that's the standing to build if you want that side of the Hideout.
