Most of your bag splits into two jobs: getting an Evomon stronger and keeping it happy. The leveling and reroll side is where you spend the most thought, while food and tools are cheaper day-to-day picks.

Leveling without the grind

EXP fruits hand an Evomon experience straight from your bag, no battles needed. The Small fruit is a top-up, Medium is the steady mid-game option, and Large gives the biggest jump per fruit. Save your Large fruits for an Evomon you actually plan to keep, since the supply is slower than the smaller ones.

The reroll potions change one thing each and nothing else. Talent Vector shuffles which stats a Talent boosts, but it does not raise the Talent rank itself, so an S-rank catch stays S-rank. Trait Reroll swaps the Trait, and Nature Reroll swaps the Nature. Reach for these only on an Evomon worth the investment, because the result is random and you may need a few tries.

Evolving an Evomon

Evolution needs two things together: the universal Evolution Stone plus the element stone that matches your Evomon's type, both at the right level milestone. The Evolution Stone applies to every line, while the per-element stones (the fire, water, grass, electric, and other type stones) are gated to their element. You earn element stones the first time you beat each NPC Trainer and from island and Summon Ruins bosses, while Evolution Stones come from the Exchange Merchant, bosses, and player level-ups.

The Omni Stone is your backup. When you are short a specific element stone, one Omni Stone fills in for one element stone, so you can finish an evolution without farming the exact type. They are worth holding because they fit any recipe.

Food and tools

Food restores Hunger, and a few of the better picks also restore Life Points. The basic foods come from the EvoStore or the Gacha and cover small top-ups; the bigger Expedition foods restore far more and are the ones to carry on a long run. If you want raw value, the table below sorts the common choices.

FoodRestoresWhere it comes from
Fish3 HungerEvoStore, Gacha
Apple / Cherry / Clover5 HungerEvoStore, Gacha
Meat6 HungerEvoStore, Gacha
Banana / Ginger / Ice Cream / Hot Pepper15 HungerExpedition, Gacha
Jackfruit9 Hunger + 1 Life PointExpedition, Gacha
Dino Meat12 Hunger + 2 Life PointsExpedition, Gacha
Strawberries15 Hunger + 3 Life PointsExpedition, Gacha

The two tools are simple. The Shovel scoops up Evomon poop to keep your area clean, and the XPNATOR banks experience so you can apply it later instead of letting it go to waste.

A common early mistake is dumping rare items on whatever you caught first. EXP fruits, reroll potions, and Omni Stones all reward patience, so spend them on the Evomon you mean to keep and let the cheap food carry the rest.

FAQ

Q.

Do reroll potions improve an Evomon's Talent rank?

No. The Talent Vector Potion only shuffles which stats a Talent boosts. The rank stays the same, so an Evomon caught at S-rank Talent stays S-rank after a reroll.

Q.

What is the difference between the Evolution Stone and an element stone?

The Evolution Stone is universal and every evolution needs it. Element stones are type-locked, so you need the one that matches your Evomon's element. Most evolutions ask for both together at a level milestone.

Q.

What does the Omni Stone do?

It substitutes for any element stone you are missing. One Omni Stone counts as one element stone, so you can fill the gaps in an evolution recipe without farming that exact type.

Q.

Which food restores the most?

Strawberries restore 15 Hunger plus 3 Life Points, the highest combined value. Banana, Ginger, Ice Cream, and Hot Pepper each restore 15 Hunger, while Dino Meat gives 12 Hunger plus 2 Life Points.

Q.

How do you get EXP fruits?

You pick them up through normal play: battles, quests, EXP Dungeons, releasing Evomon, and redeemed codes. Larger fruits show up less often, so they are worth saving for an Evomon you plan to keep.

Q.

What are the Shovel and XPNATOR for?

The Shovel scoops up Evomon poop to keep your area tidy. The XPNATOR stores experience so you can bank it and spend it later instead of losing it.
