Island is where the key lives. How to get is the method: catch, eggs, or fishing. Requirement is the named pet, egg door, or rod you actually need. Unlocks is the door. What it opens is the reward behind that door. Repeatable stays blank unless the same lock can be used again, like the Safari chest after cooldown. Availability is hourly for Ice Island and standing for islands that stay on the map.

Ice Island is the bottleneck. It is hourly, so grab the Yeti Key while that island is connected. Standing islands wait for you.
Spend versus farm is the other split. Sky Key costs Legendary Eggs, so you buy the Dragon Island door open. Catch keys and the Fishing Key are loops: keep catching the named pet, or keep casting at Lost Docks, until the key shows up.
If you want a tool room next session, Volcano Key and Fishing Key do more than the Safari food chest. The chest is still worth it when you need feed, and it is the lock you can reopen after cooldown.

- Cave Island opens its enchant cave with five TNT, not a key. Cave Key is the Safari chest key.
- Volcano Island opens the crater grate with five fuel canisters. Volcano Key is the Bee Island key you hand to Mr. Atlas.
- Tropical Island was a summer island with no secret key, and it is gone now.
- The Abyss has a later gate that uses keys from Abyssal Peeper. That puzzle sits after Forgotten Depths, not with these inventory keys.
The five-shapes Baby Monkey cage in Forgotten Depths starts after the Underwater Key. The key opens the water gate. The shapes open the monkey cage.
Easy mix-ups
- Worker Bee, not Queen Bee. The flaming key is on the worker.
- Sky Key lives on Dragon Island. Sky Island is a different paid area. People search Dragon Key, but the inventory name is Sky Key.
- The Yeti Key can show up as Key. If you just caught a Raccoon on Ice Island, check for a plain Key.
- Any lasso is enough to start a pet-mouth farm. Clownfish is common, so the Underwater Key is a patience check more than a gear check.
- The Fishing Key is fished with a rod at a Lost Docks pond. Extra luck gear is unproven for this drop.
- Safari is the repeatable chest. Other doors stay used.
