Plan around your inventory
Open Car Builds near spawn and check a preset's requirements against the parts you own. If Spawn opens a Missing Parts window, use those gaps as your next collection goals. Check the menu before chasing components so you work toward the car you actually want.
Keep using a custom car while you gather the missing pieces. You do not need to finish a preset before building a working vehicle.
Choose a layout for your run
Pick the layout that suits the run you want to make, then check whether you can supply its parts. A speed-focused design and a heavier weapon-oriented design suit different plans. Neither name promises a fixed speed or damage bonus.
Weapon capacity also depends on your Skills upgrades. Choosing a heavier preset does not replace those upgrades.

Do I have to spend Robux to get a car blueprint?
No. You can collect the required parts and use Spawn in Car Builds. An optional Robux shortcut is available, so check its purchase prompt if you choose that route.
