A knife in BloxStrike, the Roblox shooter, is the melee blade you carry into rounds. The knives players collect are cosmetic skins that change only how that blade looks. You get them from cases you open with Credits, the in-game currency you earn in matches. Because the top knives are hard to pull, owning a rare one is a way to stand out.

Are BloxStrike Knives Cosmetic Only?
Yes. Knives don't add damage, speed or accuracy, so fights come down to tactics, aim and teamwork, and a blade's look doesn't change any of that.
Knives still have a purpose outside of fights. Each knife type comes in many finishes, so two players with the same knife type can end up with very different-looking blades.
How to Get a BloxStrike Knife
Cases are the usual way to get a knife. Each one costs Credits, and opening it gives you a single random item. The case you choose decides which knives you can pull, because each knife case drops its own set of knife types. No case mixes knives and gloves, and gloves come only from Glove Case and Glove Case 2.
Case choice matters most for a few well-known knives. The Skeleton Knife comes only from the Apex Case, and the Stiletto Knife comes only from Lionheart, which has the widest knife pool of any case. The Butterfly Knife drops from Chrysalis and several later cases. Case 1, the launch case with Karambit, Flip, Gut and M9 Bayonet knives, has left regular rotation, so its finishes are harder to get from cases now.
Why BloxStrike Knives Are So Hard to Pull
Knives sit in the top rarity tier, so they show up far less often than the common drops. Rarity works like a ladder, and each opening is a long shot for anything near the top, which is why a knife feels earned when it finally drops. Because luck plays such a big part, saving up Credits before you start opening cases is a sensible plan.
FAQ
Does BloxStrike show knife drop rates?
Yes, but only by tier. The case screen's Odds view shows how likely each rarity tier is, not each knife, so you can judge how rare a case's top items are without seeing one knife's exact chance.
Can you get a BloxStrike knife without opening cases?
Yes. Trading with other players and the Global Marketplace are both ways to get a knife. That's the route to take when a case you want has left rotation, because you can get the exact knife you're after instead of hoping for a pull.
What can you see on a case before you open it?
The case screen shows the items a case can drop, along with its cost and rarity information. Check that list before spending Credits, so you know the knife you want is in the pool.
