In a BloxStrike match on Roblox, you join one of two teams of five and play a series of rounds. In each round, one side tries to plant at the objective site while the other tries to stop the plant or defuse it. Before every round, you open the buy menu and spend round cash on weapons, utility, and armor, so you're not walking into a fight empty-handed.
Round cash is the money you earn during a match from how well you play. It carries over from one round to the next, so you can skip a buy and save for a stronger one. Credits are a separate kind of money that stays on your account between matches, and you earn them slowly by playing. You spend them in the shop on cases, which is how you get skins, knives, and gloves.
Each case has its own pool of items, and each open gives you one random item from that pool, with no guaranteed drop. Knives and gloves are rare drops with extremely low drop rates, so expect to open many cases before one shows up. Skins change how your gear looks, but they don't affect damage, recoil, or any other stat. If you want a particular skin, you can buy one directly from another player on the Global Marketplace.

Game data
Knives:
Knives in BloxStrike are cosmetic, so they change how a blade looks without adding damage, speed or accuracy. Most come from cases opened with Credits, and each case drops its own set of knife types. Knives can also change hands through trading and the Global Marketplace. They sit in the rare Special tier, so they are the hardest drops to pull.
Weapon Skins:
Weapon skins are cosmetic finishes that change how a gun looks, with no effect on damage, recoil or other stats. Players mostly get them from cases bought with Credits, where each opening drops one random item, and trades and trade-ups help them aim for a specific skin. Skins run from Blue to Red in rarity, with knives and gloves in a separate top tier.
Cases:
Cases are boxes in BloxStrike that you open with Credits for one random skin. Each weapon case holds a fixed spread of weapon skins across the Blue, Purple, Pink and Red tiers, plus a Special tier for its own knives, while the Glove Case and Glove Case 2 are where gloves come from. Case 1 and Winter 2025 have left regular rotation, and new cases arrive with updates. Trade-ups, trading and the Global Marketplace let players get a specific skin without opening cases.
Gloves:
Gloves are cosmetic items that change how your character's hands look during matches, and the case gloves sit in the game's Special tier above Blue, Purple, Pink and Red. They come from the Glove Case and the Glove Case 2, with Sports Gloves | The Ambassador coming from The Ambassador Collection, and players can also get them through trading and the Global Marketplace. They're grouped into sports gloves, operator gloves, driver gloves and handwraps, and drops are random and rare, so most players open many cases before landing the one they want.
Charms:
Charms are small trinkets that hang on guns in BloxStrike, added with the Winter Update alongside Charm Capsules. They come in Blue, Purple, Pink and Red, and the color shows how rare each one is. Most charms come from Charm Pack #1, a couple are tied to the Medal Collection, and players can also trade for them or buy them on the Global Marketplace.
BloxStrike Gameplay Tips
- Skip a buy when your team is short on cash. Round cash carries over, so saving for one round lets your team afford a full buy in the next.
- Keep money for armor and utility when you buy a rifle. Your round cash has to cover the rifle, armor, and utility together, so spending most of it on one gun can leave you short.
- Keep the objective in mind during fights. A round can be won by planting or defusing, so keep track of it while you fight.
- Buy the skin you want on the Global Marketplace. Opening cases means hoping for the right drop, while a Marketplace listing shows the exact skin and its price.
