The shop's real structure
Weapons and tools follow upgrade ladders where each tier obsoletes the last, blocks trade cost against blast resistance and break speed, and utility items are priced by how unfair they are at the right moment. Consumables round out fights and rushes. The currencies form a pipeline: iron for infrastructure, gold and diamonds for upgrades, emeralds for the endgame spikes.
Spending under pressure
- Early iron goes to blocks, a tool, and a sword tier, in that order.
- Blast-resistant blocks around the bed beat taller walls of wool; mixed layers force enemies to swap tools mid-break.
- Utility wins fights weapons cannot: a well-timed knockback or mobility item breaks bridges and sieges alike.
- Kit items appear in the shop only for their kit; if your kit has one, it is usually the reason to play that kit.
The building catalog: cost versus blast resistance versus break speed.

FAQ
What should I buy first in BedWars?
Blocks for the bed, a pickaxe, and a sword upgrade, funded by early iron. Everything else scales from surviving the first rush.
Which blocks defend best?
Layer different materials so attackers must switch tools; blast-resistant blocks protect against explosives that ignore wool entirely.
What are emeralds for?
Endgame power: top weapon tiers and the utility that closes matches. Iron and gold run your economy; emeralds spike it.
