Equipment Upgrades are the boosts you buy for your gear in Attack on Titan Revolution, the Roblox game where you fight Titans. Your gear is called ODM gear, and it's what lets your character fly and deal damage, so upgrades affect how hard you hit, how you move, and how long you can keep going. Knowing what each upgrade does helps you spend your gold on the right things first.

How Equipment Upgrades Work in Attack on Titan Revolution
Equipment Upgrades live in the Upgrades section of the Equipment tab. Each upgrade costs gold and raises one stat on your gear, so your setup grows one piece at a time. Every stat has its own letter grade that climbs as you put gold into it. You can work on them in any order, but spreading your gold across them is what keeps your overall grade moving.
Blades and Thunderspears Upgrade Separately
Attack on Titan Revolution has different gear for flying and fighting. Blades are the default, and the game also calls them ODM. Thunderspears, often just called Spears, unlock once you reach Prestige and finish their questline, and they bring explosive attacks to the fight.
Each gear type has its own paid upgrades and its own overall grade. Thunderspears have their own version of most Blade stats, so you'll plan each setup on its own.
What Each Equipment Upgrade Stat Does
Damage is how much harm each hit does to Titans, so it's the stat that makes every attack count for more. Crit Chance and Crit Damage add on top of that by giving some hits a bigger boost.
Speed, Control, and Range are about how you move. Speed helps you move faster and dodge more quickly, Control helps you handle sudden changes in movement, and Range extends your reach.
Gas and Durability keep you going. Gas extends how long you can stay in the air before you need a refill, and Durability helps your gear last longer before it needs replacing. On Thunderspears, Blast Radius takes Durability's place and widens how far each explosion reaches.
How to Choose Which Equipment Upgrade to Buy
Start with what's holding you back. If your hits feel weak or Titans take too long to go down, look at Damage and the crit stats first. If you feel slow, struggle to dodge, or can't reach where you need to go, Speed, Control, and Range will help more. If you run out of gas or your gear wears out quickly, Gas and Durability are the ones to raise. If your explosions don't cover enough ground, Blast Radius is the one to raise on Thunderspears.
Spread your gold across damage, movement, and endurance rather than pushing one stat hard. That keeps your overall grade climbing and leaves no single weak area dragging on your fights.
How Equipment Grades Are Calculated
Each gear type has an overall grade, and it's the average of all its stat grades. That means raising one stat helps, but the rest of your stats set the pace. The overall grade also decides which difficulties you can play on, so it's worth watching as you go.
The game also keeps any one stat from running far ahead of the others. A stat can only be upgraded while it stays close to your overall grade, so pushing a single stat to the top stops working until the rest catch up. That's why balanced upgrades are the way to keep your grade climbing over time.
FAQ
What's the difference between Crit Chance and Crit Damage?
Crit Chance decides how often a hit lands as a critical hit, while Crit Damage decides how much stronger those critical hits are. Crit Damage only pays off when crits land, so the two work as a pair. If critical hits are rare, raise Crit Chance first, and if they land but don't feel strong, Crit Damage is the better pick.
Do perk and Artifact bonuses apply to both gear types?
Only perks and Artifacts that apply to both gear types carry over. Check your setup when you switch so you know which bonuses still apply.
