Crates are chests in Attack on Titan Revolution, the Roblox game based on the anime where you fight titans. They hold cosmetics, such as outfits, masks, weapon looks, auras, and wings, and opening one gives you a single random piece from its own set. Knowing how the odds, pity, and trading work makes it much easier to decide which crate is worth your Gems.

What Are Crates in Attack on Titan Revolution?
Cosmetics are items that change how your character looks rather than how it plays. Crate items are cosmetics like outfits, masks, weapon looks, auras, and wings, and each crate has its own fixed set of them. Opening a crate gives you one random pick from that set, so a crate's name and theme tell you a lot about what's inside.
Crates have different ways of becoming available. Some are sold in the Market, some are older crates that have left it, and some are event crates tied to a holiday. They work the same way once opened, but how you get them and whether they stay available differs between groups.
How Crate Rarity and Odds Work
Most crates sort their items into rarity tiers, from Common up through Epic, Legendary, and Mythical. Each item has its own chance of showing up on each open, and the rarer the tier, the smaller that chance. That's why common looks turn up far more often than the top tiers.
Apart from pity, the odds on each open are the same no matter what came before. A bad run doesn't make the next open more likely to be good.
Event crates don't always follow that pattern. The Halloween crate, for example, gave every item an equal chance, and the odds for holiday crates have changed from one season to the next.
How Crate Pity Works
Some crates have a pity rule, which is a safety net for bad luck. If you reach the pity threshold without getting an Epic or higher item, the guarantee gives you one. The guarantee is for Epic or higher, so it doesn't promise a Legendary or Mythical.
Pity is set crate by crate, so not every crate has one. If you land an Epic or higher item before the count reaches its limit, the count resets to zero and starts over.
How to Buy and Trade Crates
Crates in the Market are priced in Gems. Once you buy one, it goes into your inventory, where you can open it whenever you like. Market stock changes over time, so a crate you want may not always be on sale.
Players can also trade with each other, and that depends on your Prestige level.
Some older crates have left the Market, and trading is how they change hands now.
Which Crates Are Worth Opening?
Rarity alone isn't the best way to pick a crate. A top-tier item you never wear is less useful than a common look you use all the time. Start with the theme and ask what kind of look you want for your character.
Crates named after a show, such as the Naruto, Demon Slayer, Bleach, and Jujutsu Kaisen crates, are built around that series. Others stick to one kind of look. Blade Burst 2, for example, gives only equipment auras, while Scout Fashion 2 is mostly custom designs with little tie to the anime.
Once you've found a crate with the look you want, the odds and pity rules tell you how hard it will be to land it.
Holiday Event Crates Like the Halloween Crate
Holiday event crates come out during a holiday event and belong to that event. Each event uses its own currency, which you earn by playing. For Halloween, that currency is Halloween Tokens, earned by defeating pumpkin-headed titans, and the event shop uses them for cosmetics and boosts.
The Halloween crate, for example, leaned toward skeleton outfits, masks, and blades. Since event crates belong to their holiday, don't count on any of them returning in later seasons.
FAQ
Can you buy crates with Robux?
Regular Market crates are priced in Gems. Historical holiday crates used their event currency.
What's the difference between a crate and a raid chest?
Crates are cosmetic chests from the Market, trades, or events. Raid chests are rewards from raids instead. The Raider's Chest is the free one, while the Emperor's Trove needs an Emperor Key to open.
Can you still get the Jujutsu Kaisen crate?
Only by trading with other players. It has left the Market, so the shop won't sell it to you anymore.
