Food in Adopt Me sits inside the same loop as pet care, Bucks, and aging. Hungry and Thirsty tasks look small, but they decide how smoothly you can grind with a pet out, play as a baby, and keep earning while you move around the map.
The important split is simple. Cheap food and drinks are everyday supplies, candy and old treats are more about collecting or event history, and potions matter because they change progress, movement, or a pet's abilities.
