Number Buttons at spawn change how much Speed you gain with each step. Stronger buttons need more Wins, so each one gives you a clear target while you race through the stages.

How Number Buttons work

The Number Buttons sit at spawn, opposite the treadmills. Stand on an available button to switch to its listed Speed gain per step, then keep moving to build Speed.

Each button has a Wins requirement. Wins come from reaching the yellow safe-zone pads, so stage runs move you toward both the next button and the Speed needed for harder stages. A tidy little loop, until the next requirement arrives.

Which Number Button to use

Use the highest button currently available to you. Higher options give more Speed per step, which makes rebuilding Speed and preparing for later stages quicker.

Check the required Wins before planning your next upgrade. Large jumps in the ladder can take longer to reach, so keep using your best available button instead of waiting around at spawn with very fast intentions.

Number Buttons and other Speed upgrades

Number Buttons control the listed base Speed gained per step. Treadmills, Trails, Auras, Rebirths, and temporary boosts are separate progression systems, so do not read a button value as your total gain after every other effect.
