Buy the digital Standard or Ultimate Edition of GTA 6 on PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store by November 19, 2026, and you get one free month of GTA+. GTA+ is Rockstar's monthly membership, which adds GTA Online perks and a rotating library of classic Rockstar games to your account. You claim the month through the GTA+ product page on PlayStation or the Offers & credits section on Xbox, and each console has its own claim deadline.

Which GTA 6 Purchases Qualify for the Free GTA+ Month
The offer applies only to digital copies of the Standard or Ultimate Edition bought through PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store. A pre-order counts as long as it's placed by the cutoff. Physical copies aren't covered, and PC isn't among the eligible platforms, so buying the game for PC won't earn the month.
These purchases don't qualify:
- Physical copies
- PC purchases
- The Ultimate Edition Upgrade add-on on PlayStation
If you want the Ultimate Edition, buy the full edition by the cutoff. The upgrade add-on won't qualify, even if you buy it before November 19.
The purchase deadline is November 19, 2026, the last day to order. The purchase date is what counts, so an order placed after that day won't qualify, even if you plan to claim the month later. On the US Xbox Store, the cutoff is 11:59:59 p.m. on November 19, 2026. Other regions may use different cutoff times, so if you're buying close to the deadline, check the listing for your store.
Who Can Claim the Free GTA+ Month
Both the buyer and the account matter. On PlayStation, the buyer must meet the age requirements for both GTA 6 and GTA+. On Xbox, child accounts restricted from age-rated content can't redeem the offer.
A few other rules apply:
- On PlayStation, the offer is available in all PlayStation Store countries except Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar and the Russian Federation.
- New, lapsed and existing GTA+ members can all claim it on PlayStation.
- Each platform account gets one redemption, no matter how many purchases it makes.
- If you refund GTA 6 and pre-order it again, you won't get a second free month.
- On PlayStation, the month can't be transferred. It can only be claimed on the account that bought the game.
How to Claim the Free GTA+ Month on PS5 or PS5 Pro
On PlayStation, buying the game and claiming the month are two separate steps. The purchase gets you a confirmation email with redemption instructions, and the claim happens on the GTA+ product page. You can claim at any point after buying, as long as you finish by March 31, 2027.
- Buy the digital Standard or Ultimate Edition on PlayStation Store on or before November 19, 2026. PlayStation sends a confirmation email with GTA+ redemption instructions.
- Once GTA 6 is ordered, open the GTA+ product page on PlayStation Store.
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete the transaction. There's no extra cost.
Read the claim screen before you confirm. It shows the date when the free month turns into a paid monthly subscription. If you don't want to keep GTA+ after the free month, that's the date to plan around, and the billing section below explains how to cancel before it.
How to Claim the Free GTA+ Month on Xbox Series X|S
Xbox works differently. Your console tells you when the month is ready, and the claim happens in the Offers & credits section of the Microsoft Store. The 180-day window is the one to keep in mind.
- Buy the digital Standard or Ultimate Edition on Microsoft Store by the cutoff.
- Wait for the pop-up. When the GTA+ month is ready, your console sends a notification.
- Open Store, select your profile icon at the top left, and choose Offers & credits.
- Find the GTA+ offer and redeem it.
Redeem the offer within 180 days of your purchase or pre-order. If you miss the pop-up, you can go straight to Offers & credits and redeem it from there.
What Happens When the Free GTA+ Month Ends
After the free month, GTA+ renews every month at the regular monthly price until you cancel. The price depends on your region and store, and you can cancel at any time. If you don't want paid months, cancel before the renewal date shown on the claim screen.
- PlayStation: Go to Subscriptions Management in your account settings and cancel before the next payment date.
- Xbox: Sign in at account.microsoft.com/services with the Microsoft account that redeemed GTA+. Find the subscription, select Manage, and cancel or turn off recurring billing.
If you already have GTA+, the free month isn't a separate membership. It's added to your existing subscription, and your next billing date is extended by one month. PlayStation usually doesn't allow GTA+ months to stack, so this offer is the exception.
What GTA+ Includes for Members
GTA+ is a monthly membership with GTA Online benefits on PC (Enhanced), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It also gives you access to a rotating library of classic Rockstar games. The GTA Online perks include:

None of these perks are tied to GTA 6 itself. Library access depends on the platform where the membership was bought, so claim the month on the console you plan to play on.
