The Red Panda is a Super pet in Grow a Garden 2. You roll it from Fall Harvest exclusive shop drops, then it sneaks out at night and steals seeds from other players' gardens.
It is not the Red Panda from the original Grow a Garden. That one used a different shop and currency. This version only shows up in Grow a Garden 2 Fall Harvest exclusives.
If you are still picking free and early pets, use best pets to get first in Grow a Garden 2. Red Panda lives in the Robux limited-time pool, not the starter roster.

How to get the Red Panda in Grow a Garden 2
You buy rolls in the Fall Harvest Limited Time Shop. Red Panda does not spawn on the map, and it does not hatch from normal Fall Common, Big, Rainbow, or Mega eggs.
- Find the Explorer Stand in Garden Valley and talk to Ethan (Ethan the Explorer).
- Enter Fall Harvest. It is a separate event world that uses Leaves as its currency.
- Open the Limited Time Shop from the top-of-screen Shop button (some clients show a basket-style Fall store icon).
- Buy the Exclusive Harvest Egg or Exclusive Fall Chest with Robux while the offers are live.
The shop may label the egg Exclusive Fall Egg. That is the same exclusive product as the Exclusive Harvest Egg loot table. Fall Harvest and these offers are limited-time, so stock can change or disappear when the event ends. Some regions may hide gambling-style shop offers.
Exclusive Harvest Egg and Fall Chest rates
| Source | Red Panda chance | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Exclusive Harvest Egg | 8% | Same exclusive egg pool as Scarecrow, Jackalope, and Kitsune |
| Exclusive Fall Chest | 5% | Often seed packs or Fall Common Eggs instead |
Most egg rolls are not Red Panda. The Exclusive Harvest Egg pool is roughly Scarecrow 71.84%, Jackalope 20%, Red Panda 8%, and Kitsune 0.16%.
Exclusive pet hatches can also roll size or color variants (about Big 10%, Rainbow 5%, Mega 0.1% on those lines).
If your only goal is Red Panda, the egg is the better raw chance. Grab the chest when you also want seed packs and common Fall eggs mixed into the same purchase.
What the Red Panda does (and how it beats the Fox)
At night, the Red Panda leaves your garden, steals a seed from another player's plot, and brings it home. Those free seeds help you expand without buying every pack yourself. High-rarity seeds still land rarely, so treat nights as steady help, not a jackpot machine.
The Fox has the same night seed-steal idea as a Mythic Fall Harvest map pet. Red Panda just works faster. It checks for a steal about every 4-8 seconds, with a very high chance to attempt each check, a short trip to deliver on success, then a brief cooldown (shorter after a failed check than after a clean steal). The Fox checks less often, attempts less often, and rests longer after a success.
| Pet | How you get it | Night seed steal |
|---|---|---|
| Red Panda | Super; Exclusive Harvest Egg (8%) or Exclusive Fall Chest (5%) | Faster checks, higher attempt rate, shorter success cooldown |
| Fox | Mythic map spawn (very rare Leaves buy) | Slower checks, lower attempt rate, longer success cooldown |
When other players raid your plot at night, stack this with tips from the Grow a Garden 2 night stealing guide. For how Super exclusives sit in the wider roster, check the Grow a Garden 2 pets tier list.
Worth it if you want more passive seed income and are fine spending Robux on gacha. Collectors may also chase Big, Mega, or Rainbow rolls on the same exclusive lines. There is no free guaranteed Red Panda path in this pool.
