All 3 Currencies in Tap Simulator: Reborn and What Each One Buys

Updated on October 20, 2026 (4 days ago)

Every Coin you earn by tapping has to go somewhere: an egg, an island unlock or the next rebirth. Gems are the upgrade currency, and Tokens sit apart from both. The decision that matters most is timing, whether to spend on an egg now or save for the rebirth.

How Coins and Gems Connect at Rebirth

You spend Coins to rebirth, and the rebirth pays Gems and a permanent tap multiplier, so every tap pays more from then on. The first rebirth cost 800 Coins at launch. Later rebirths climb into the millions and billions, so plan around the number on the rebirth panel.

Where Your Coins Come From and Where They Go

Tapping is where your Coins start. Quest rewards, chest rewards and offline gains add Coins on top, and pets and upgrades change how much each tap pays.

Eggs, island and area unlocks, and rebirths all spend from that same Coin balance. An egg is worth buying when its pet improves your tap output. Once a rebirth is in reach, save for it.

What Gems Buy in Tap Simulator: Reborn

Gems buy skill-tree upgrades, the Auto Clicker and double jumps. The skill tree boosts tapping, and the Auto Clicker automates it. The Auto Clicker cost 20 Gems at launch, but the price on the upgrade panel is the one you'll actually pay.

Tokens and the Hatch Bundle

Tokens are a separate paid balance. The Hatch Bundle accepts them instead of Robux.

FAQ

Q.

Do Gem upgrades stay after a rebirth?

Yes. Upgrades you buy with Gems stay after you rebirth, so they keep paying off with every rebirth you make.

Q.

How do you get Tokens?

Buy Token packs with Robux.
