Shiny Stars are hidden pickups scattered from the Spawn Lobby through Shadow Realm in Tap Simulator: Reborn. Most sit right beside something you already walk past, so they're easy to miss.

Shiny Star Route Order in Tap Simulator: Reborn
The route follows the order the islands open up, and Shadow Realm comes last on it, so play it straight through. Clear each island before you head on, because a star you skip means going back later.
Start in the Spawn Lobby. The rocket pad tower is the lobby star that takes real effort: you climb its ladders, and those ladders sit behind the portals.
Desert Island is the simplest stop. Its stars sit around the pyramid, so a single stop covers the island.
Reaching Sky Island: Portal or Double-Jump
Sky Island is the first island on the route after the lobby. Take its portal, or double-jump up from the starter island if you'd rather skip the portal.
The portal lands you right by the rocky border near the entrance gate, so check there first. Then head toward the right-hand side and approach the cliff edge carefully, since the drop sits right there.
Side-Island Jumps to Plan Before You Leave
Autumn, Mushroom, Crystal Cave and Shadow Realm each have stars on side islands you reach by jumping, so plan those jumps before you leave each area.
On Autumn, get the Windmill star by the Gems Upgrade building first. Then jump over to the Giant Pumpkin islet, so you don't have to backtrack.
On Mushroom, the Collection Index jump starts at the Mushroom & Mycelium Egg. The treasure chest star sits on its own side island, so it's a separate jump.
On Crystal Cave, the ledge star needs a jump across to the island on the right.
The star by the Rainbow machine in Shadow Realm needs a jump to the island on the left, and you may have to climb the crystal to touch it. Expect the climb, since the jump alone may not get you there.
What Finishing the Set Gives You
Finishing the set gives you a permanent 4% Shiny mutation chance. That's a chance, not a sure thing, so don't count on a Shiny on your next hatch.
