You tap to earn Coins, then use them to buy eggs and open the gates to new islands. Eggs hatch pets, and the ones that boost how much each tap pays make the grind faster.
Rebirthing is the bigger step. Each rebirth needs the Coin amount shown on the rebirth panel, then pays Gems and raises the tap multiplier shown there. Gems are the upgrade currency, so the Gems from each rebirth pay for skill-tree upgrades.

Pets:
Pets hatch from eggs spread across the map, and each egg has its own group of pets and chances. A rarity tier doesn't set the odds, so Secret II pets can have very different chances. Pick the egg that carries the pet you want, then compare that pet's chance.
Eggs:
Eggs are where Coins and Robux turn into pets in Tap Simulator: Reborn. Basic Egg at spawn is the cheap place to start, and the island stands cost far more.
Currencies:
Coins, Gems and Tokens each have a different job in Tap Simulator: Reborn. Coins come from tapping and pay for eggs, islands and rebirths, while Gems buy upgrades like the Auto Clicker. Tokens are a separate paid balance, and the Hatch Bundle accepts them. Save Coins for a rebirth once its price is in reach, since rebirths also pay Gems and a permanent tap boost.
Collectibles
Islands:
Islands are the areas past Spawn, and Coin gates are one way to unlock them. The stops on each island give you a reason to save for the next one, so know what's waiting before you commit your Coins.
Shiny Star Locations:
Shiny Stars are hidden pickups you touch to collect, from the lobby up to Shadow Realm in Tap Simulator: Reborn. Each one sits by a landmark like an egg stand, machine, tree or rock, so look there first. Work through the islands in order, and finish each one before you leave it.

Tap Simulator: Reborn Gameplay Tips
- Build your Tap Power to 700, then stand at the Spawn bridge and tap its prompt until the bridge drops. That opens the portal route to the islands, so it's the first milestone to aim for.
- Spend Gems on the Auto Clicker in the skill tree. It keeps tapping while you read the shop or check a stand, so Coins still come in while you're away from the tap.
- The Sky Island portal asks for 7 to 10 million Coins, so expect a real grind to save up for it. If that grind is too long, Gem-funded double jumps are another way past the Coin gates from Sky through Shadow Realm. The portal shows the live price, so check it before you commit to saving.
- Collect all 15 Shiny Stars for a permanent 4% Shiny mutation chance. The reward only starts once the full set is in, so a partial set doesn't count. Clear each island before you leave it, since a skipped star means backtracking.
