Stacklands is a card-based village builder where you stack cards to gather resources, craft items and grow a settlement. Cursed Worlds is its first add-on, and it sends you into three challenge worlds where villagers are haunted by curses. You lift each curse by building up the village with new cards and card packs. Players can collect and keep track of every Cursed Worlds card as they play.

How to Unlock Cursed Worlds in Stacklands
Cursed Worlds is an add-on, so you need the base Stacklands game to play it. The new content opens once you beat the first boss fight in the main game, and until then the worlds and their cards won't be available. That gate also means you'll already know the base game's basics by the time the curses come into play.
The Three Cursed Worlds and Their Curses
Each cursed world is built around one central problem that weighs on its villagers, so knowing that problem tells you what to build. In the World of Sadness, villagers need happiness every moon cycle. Books and taverns are among the ways to keep them content, but some actions also create sadness, such as selling food or losing a villager, so keep an eye on what you're doing.
The World of Greed is ruled by a royal who wants luxuries such as wine, socks and paintings. If his demands go unmet, he sends the Royal Guards after you, along with archers and mages.
The World of Death is about aging and sickness. Villagers grow old and fall ill, so you'll build houses for new villagers, handle waste with outhouses and sewers, and brew Herbal Tea to help the sick.
How to Lift Curses in Cursed Worlds
Lifting a curse isn't a single action. You build up the village over time and use the new cards and card packs from Cursed Worlds to solve the problem the curse creates. The add-on's packs are made to help with exactly that, so it's worth opening each one you can. Pay attention to what the world's problem is asking for, since that's your best guide to what to build next.
How to Get Cursed Worlds Cards
Cursed Worlds cards come from a few places. Some are crafted from ingredients you already have, much like cooking a meal. Others come from enemies in these worlds, such as ghouls, royal guards and a baby dragon, so fighting is part of collecting.
Your progress lives in the Cardopedia, the in-game card book that shows which cards you've found and which you're still missing. Check it as you go, since it's the quickest way to see what's left.
Which Cursed Worlds Cards Matter Most: Altar and Spirits
The Altar is the card that matters most at the start, because it's how you call the spirits that open each world. Place an item on it and the matching spirit appears. Raw meat calls the Spirit of Death, a coin calls the Spirit of Greed and charcoal calls the Spirit of Sadness.
Each spirit acts as a guide for its world and offers hints about the problems you'll face there. The curse cards come next in importance, since each one is the problem you're working to clear.
FAQ
Can I replay a cursed world after I finish it?
Yes. When you finish a world, its spirit offers to send you back in, and the Death and Sadness spirits can also switch their curse on in your main game as a harder challenge. Greed is the exception, since its curse is tied to its own world.
What else does Cursed Worlds add to the game?
Besides the three worlds, you can befriend cats, name your villagers with a Naming Stone and cook new dishes, including pizza.
How do you get a cat in Stacklands?
Give Milk to a Feral Cat and it becomes a friendly Cat. Two Cats on a House will then make another one.
