All 38 Career Jobs and Unlock Order in PowerWash Simulator 2

Updated on November 1, 2026 (3 days ago)

Career jobs are the cleaning jobs that drive the story in PowerWash Simulator 2. You clean all kinds of places around Caldera County, from a mobility scooter and a public facility to a shopping mall and an airship, and each finished job moves the story along.

How PowerWash Simulator 2 Career Jobs Unlock and Work

Each job is picked from the Job Map at your Home Base, and new jobs unlock in a fixed order. Some jobs have more than one stage, and the next part opens only after you finish the first.

The story comes through on-screen messages and small clues in the environment. It's a loose thread, and it's easy to forget mid-job until the next story beat shows up.

How to Earn Cash and Buy Better Washers

Career jobs are the main source of Cash, the money you spend on washers and attachments. PowerWash Points are a separate reward, which you spend on furniture and cosmetics at your Home Base. Keep the two apart in your head: Cash upgrades how you clean, while Points only change how your Home Base looks.

You start with two free washers, the Prime Vista 1500 and the Urban X U1. If you're wondering what to buy first, start with a stronger main washer, since it saves the most time. An extension wand comes next and is worth having before your first multi-story job, and a better soap applicator follows after that.

Career Bonus Goals and Side Challenges

Many career jobs add optional goals on top of the main clean. They don't block progress, but they count toward achievements and trophies. Most of these are about how you clean. In Campsite, the lanterns come first and must be cleaned with only the red nozzle. In Dog Car, soap goes on every wash task at once.

In Solar System Exhibit, you clean the Sun first and then work outward through the planets in order. In Shopping Mall, the owl statue comes first, and in Town Floats, the giant mouse has to be cleaned last.

Some jobs are harder because they ask for patience and precision. In Stone Circle, you have to stand on all of the pillars without touching the ground. At the Motel, the Door to Door goal means cleaning every room door, handle, and number first. In the Shooting Gallery, the Bigfoot target has to be finished before anything else.

How to Collect and Replay Career Jobs

Every finished job adds a memento to your Home Base. You can also pick jobs you've already played from the Job Map, which is handy if you missed a bonus goal the first time.

Gear counts toward collecting too. The Maxed Out achievement needs every washer and every attachment owned at the same time, so buying everything for one washer, selling it, and then moving on to the next one doesn't count.

How Long PowerWash Simulator 2 Career Mode Takes

Finishing every Career job on your own takes well over 30 hours. Job length varies a lot. A small one like the Mobility Scooter takes minutes, while bigger ones like the Shopping Mall or Motel take far longer.

Can You Play Career Mode With Friends?

Yes. Online, up to four players can work through career together with shared campaign progress. Two players can also share a screen in split-screen, and working together is a good way to get through the bigger jobs.

FAQ

Q.

Do paid DLC packs add to the PowerWash Simulator 2 Career jobs?

No. Career covers only the base game, and the achievement for finishing all Career jobs counts just those. Paid packs such as the Star Wars Pack add their own jobs, and those aren't part of Career.

Q.

Can you start career without buying any washers?

Yes. The Prime Vista 1500 and the Urban X U1 are free starter washers, and the first job can be done with either one.
