In PowerWash Simulator 2, you run PowerWash Services in Caldera County and clean up job by job. It's a first-person cleaning game from FuturLab. You pick a job from the map, then spray away the dirt until the surfaces look clean again. Your power washer and its nozzle decide how wide and how hard you spray, and soap helps with the stubborn grime. You can also use equipment like a scissor lift, a ladder or an abseiling kit to reach high spots.
Between jobs, you head back to your home base to spend what you've earned. Both currencies come from your work, but they buy different things. Cash, earned by finishing jobs, pays for new washers and equipment. PowerWash Points, earned through Career and Free Play, buy furniture and cosmetic customization for your home base, so decorating never takes money from your tools.
The story comes through text messages and details hidden in the grime, so keep an eye on what's on screen as you clean. You can also clean with friends, with up to four players online or two sharing one screen.

Washers and Nozzles
Washers are the pressure machines in PowerWash Simulator 2, sorted into light, medium, heavy, and professional classes across the Prime Vista and Urban X brands. Prime Vista washers spread the spray over a wider area, while Urban X washers hit harder over a smaller area. Nozzles shape that spray, from the four basic tips that come with every washer to the adaptable, turbo, and soap options and the special Triple Tip and Double Turbo for the top washers.
Collectibles
Career Jobs
Career jobs are the story-driven cleaning jobs that make up the base game of PowerWash Simulator 2, unlocked in a fixed order from the Removals Van to Mount Rushless. Each finished job adds a memento to your Home Base. Cash earned from career jobs pays for washers and attachments.
Free and DLC Jobs
PowerWash Simulator 2 has free and paid jobs beyond the base game. Caldera Chronicles is a free series that arrives through game updates, starting with Miniature Village in update 1.2. The paid Adventure Time Pack and STAR WARS Pack add their own sets of jobs, each with new settings, tools and story messages.
PowerWash Simulator 2 gameplay tips
- Use soap freely on heavy grime. Soap is free in this game, so there's no supply to save. It clings to stubborn stains, and any nozzle rinses it off.
- Spray broadly with a wide nozzle, and save the 0° nozzle for stubborn spots. The 0° nozzle makes a narrow, concentrated stream, so it covers little ground on each pass. Using it on whole surfaces slows the job down, so save it for the spots that still won't budge.
- Buy the Adaptable Nozzle if you keep switching between fixed angles. It lets you widen or narrow the spray, so you spend less time swapping attachments. It's available for every washer, so it works with whichever washer you use.
- Finish the last spots with the dirt highlight. Once only a few spots are left, the highlight shows where they are. The last few percent of grime is the slow part of a job, and this takes the guesswork out of it.
- Spend Cash on washers and equipment, and keep PowerWash Points for the look. Cosmetic customization costs PowerWash Points, so buying it won't take money from your tools. Put your Cash into the gear that changes how you clean.
