How Blueprint Sets Work in Permafrost
You spend blueprint points once per set, and everything inside unlocks together. Tool and clothing sets teach recipes, so you still craft each item yourself. The three plain Stone tools need no station, every other tool needs the Crafting Bench, and outfits need the Tailoring Bench. Wall, furniture and decor sets teach build parts instead. Press B for the Building Tool, then right-click to open the build menu. The recipes page shows what each craft costs in materials.
Buy the Plain Tool Set Before Its Refined Version
Tool sets follow the tool ladder: Stone, Flint, Scrap, Copper, Iron and Moon Rock. Every tier except Scrap also has a Refined set. A refined recipe uses up the plain tool as an ingredient, so the plain set comes first, and you need that tool in your pack before you can craft the upgrade. The Refined set then adds more of the tier's material and a Cloth. Compare damage and durability on the tools page, then refine the tier you'll actually keep using.
Clothing Sets Teach a Whole Outfit, Slot by Slot
Every clothing set covers head, torso, legs, hands and feet, and every piece is crafted at the Tailoring Bench. Each piece has its own insulation, so check the clothing page slot by slot before you pick which outfit to unlock first. Two sets, Lunar and Scavenger, are main story quest rewards, so you may get them through the story before you spend points on them.
Wooden, Tin and Quality Metal Walls Come as Base and Advanced Sets
The base set is the shell of a building: foundation, floor, wall, doorway, door and stairs. The Advanced set adds beams and balustrades. The Tin and Quality Metal base sets already include a window wall, but the Wooden base set doesn't. The Wooden Structures Advanced Set is the one that carries the Wooden Window Wall, so buy it if you want windows in a wooden build. Each material takes more punishment than the one before it, from Wooden to Tin to Quality Metal, so choose by how long the base has to hold.
Which Furniture, Lamp, Rug and Trophy Sets to Unlock Last
Furniture, lamps, rugs and trophies dress up a base, so they can wait. Every lamp in the Moon Rock Lamps Set takes one Moon Rock, and the standing lamps add Quality Metal, Scrap or Wood. Rugs and trophies are named for the animals you hunt, so the animals page shows which ones you'll meet. Start with tools, clothes and walls, then come back for these.
