Peglin is a roguelite where you fire orbs down a board of pegs to damage enemies, and relics are the passive items you pick up along the way to shape each run. Once you take one, it stays with your goblin until the run ends, changing how your orbs, pegs and health behave. Players can collect and keep track of every relic as they find them, so it's easy to see which ones you still need.

What Relics Do in Peglin
Relics are passive items, so there's nothing to press to use them. Many work when something specific happens, such as hitting a peg, launching a shot or the start of a battle, while others simply change your orbs for the whole run. Some boost your damage, some heal you, and some come with a cost, like damage to yourself or a bad status effect. Many of them work best when paired with the right orbs or with other relics.
How to Get Relics in Peglin
Relics come from chests, minibosses, bosses, shops and events on the map. Where a relic comes from usually matches its tier, so the source gives you a rough idea of what you're likely to find. Shops also sell relics, so it's worth checking what's on offer whenever you reach one. Not every relic fits your plan, so think about whether it works with your build before you take it.
Common, Rare, Boss, Event and Special Relics Explained
Relics are sorted into tiers, and each tier leans toward certain sources. Common relics are found in chests. Rare relics mostly come from defeating minibosses, though they can show up in chests now and then, and a relic called Orbert's Story raises your chances of finding rare ones in chests.
Boss relics form their own tier and are tied to boss fights. Many come with a trade-off. Matryoshka Shell adds an extra ball to every shot, but those balls are smaller than the original, while Cursed Mask boosts your orb damage whenever you carry a negative status effect, and it gives you one at the start of every battle.
Event relics come from events on the map rather than from chests or battles. The Infernal Ingot is one of them, and it drains life from your targeted enemy as you activate pegs.
Special relics don't fit neatly into the other tiers. Each class starts a run with its own relic: Peglintuition, Balladroit, Roundreloquence or Spinventoriginality. Lightning Grease comes from Spinventor shops, and Torn Sash replaces Sash of Focus once that relic has blocked a lethal hit, after which it halves all damage you take.
Best Relics in Peglin and How to Choose
Some relics stand out for how much they change a run. Popping Corn heals you a little for every stretch of peg hits, so it pays off more the longer a battle goes. Power Glove adds extra damage to every orb's normal and critical hits, with no obvious downside. Electropegnet, a boss relic, pulls your orbs toward nearby pegs and bombs, which can deal a lot of damage in a short burst.
Choosing well comes down to your orbs and the relics you already own, since relics work together. A relic that looks weak on its own can be strong in the right setup, so it's worth checking how it fits before you pass it up.
