You play through an isekai story in OUTERPLANE, a free-to-play turn-based RPG with anime-style art, where a character from our world gets pulled into another one. Here, that character from Earth lands in a fantasy world called Mirsha. The game runs on Android, iOS, and PC through Steam and Google Play Games.
Battles are the heart of the game. You fight through stages with a team of four heroes, and each hero takes a turn in order of speed, so faster heroes usually act first. Heroes can attack normally, use a skill, chain skills together, or unleash a powerful burst, and every win brings rewards you use to level up your team.
Most heroes come from gacha-style summons, where you spend Ether to draw from banners. Gear earned from tougher content makes your heroes stronger, and over time the goal is a team that can handle the story, the Special Request bosses, the Skyward Tower, and PvP in the Arena.

Gear Sets
Gear sets are groups of armor pieces that share a set effect, and wearing matching pieces unlocks a bonus. Most sets give a two-piece and a four-piece bonus, while some only work at one of the two. The sets drop from the Ecology Study Special Request bosses, with each boss tied to its own group, and the Speed and Critical Hit sets are the ones to know first.
Special Request Bosses
Special Request bosses are a set of optional boss fights in OUTERPLANE, found under the Challenges menu. Ecology Study bosses drop armor, while Identification bosses drop weapons and accessories. Every Special Request boss drops 6-star gear, which makes the mode a useful early source of strong equipment.

Heroes
Heroes are the characters you recruit, train and send into battle in OUTERPLANE, usually as a team of four. Each one belongs to a role, such as Defender, Striker, Ranger, Mage or Healer, and to an element, and star ratings from 1 to 3 show how rare they are. Heroes grow through levels, transcendence up to 6 stars and gear, and teams are built from a mix of roles.
Outerplane gameplay tips
- Spend your free Ether on Limited banners first. Limited banners come from seasons, festivals, and collabs, and they only run for a set time. Once a banner ends, the window to pull its heroes closes.
- Build your team around four roles. Aim for a main damage dealer, a crit support, a healer, and one flexible slot. Damage dealers do the hitting, crit support raises the team's chance of critical hits, healers keep heroes standing, and the flex slot covers whatever the stage needs.
- Read the enemy preview before each stage. It shows each enemy's type, element, class, stats, and skills. Fire, Water, and Earth beat each other in a loop, while Light and Dark are each strong against the other, so pick heroes whose element works well against the enemy's. That way you have a counter ready instead of finding out mid-fight.
- Use auto-battle on stages you already clear, and take manual control when a fight drags. If your team wins on auto without trouble, it's strong enough for that stage. When heroes keep falling or a boss keeps stopping you, switch to manual and watch skill timing, buffs, and debuffs. This shows you why your team works, which helps when the next stage is harder.
- Put your first gear upgrades into weapons. Weapons speed up the early game, so they give you the quickest boost. Accessories with crit chance come next for damage heroes, and armor can wait until you're further into the story.
- Borrow a friend's hero before you spend summons on one. Friends can lend heroes in eligible battles, so you can see how a hero plays before you commit summons to them.
