You lead a team of twelve Sinners in Limbus Company, a free-to-play turn-based RPG from Project Moon, the studio behind Library of Ruina. As an Executive Manager, you send them into the abandoned branch facilities of Lobotomy Corporation. Your mission is to recover the Golden Boughs left behind in those sites.
Each stage starts with a team pick, where you choose which of your twelve Sinners to bring into the fight. Every Sinner wears an Identity, an alternate form that sets its base skills, so one character can fight in very different ways. Battles run in turns, and each turn rolls every unit's speed to set the order, while an attack that meets an enemy skill turns into a clash of coin flips. Each time one side's skill comes up weaker it loses a coin, and the side that runs out first takes the hits, so keeping your Sinners standing matters as much as hitting hard.
Clearing Cantos, the story chapters, opens up the other modes, and each one feeds a different need. Luxcavation pays out Identity Training Tickets and Thread, which level up and upgrade your Sinners, while Mirror Dungeon is a run through a random dungeon whose weekly rewards include Lunacy. Luxcavation runs and Mirror Dungeon reward claims both spend Enkephalin Modules, so you plan your runs around how many you have. Lunacy and Extraction Tickets pay for random draws through Extraction, the main way to get new Identities and E.G.O, which is the equipment made from Abnormalities.

Identities
Identities are the alternate forms of the twelve Sinners in Limbus Company, each one pulled from another Mirror World and attached to a single character. An Identity decides which skills, passives and fighting style its Sinner brings into battle, and every Identity has its own kit. You get them through Extraction, then level and uptie them to unlock new skills and stronger stats.
E.G.O
E.G.O are the weapons and armor Sinners use in battle, and most of them draw their power from Abnormalities. Each E.G.O has a grade from ZAYIN to WAW, and a Sinner can equip only one of each grade at a time. Using one costs Sin resources and Sanity, and low Sanity can turn its skill into the riskier Corrosion version. Threadspin upgrades each E.G.O through several tiers, and Egoshards help players get the ones they want.
Sinners
Sinners are the twelve characters who fight for you in Limbus Company, each one inspired by a famous literary work and part of the Limbus Company Bus Department. Every player starts with all twelve, and each Sinner can be used in several Identities, alternate forms with their own skills and resistances. Every Sinner also has access to E.G.O, powerful ultimate attacks that cost Sin resources to use. Dante, the manager you play as, is counted among the Sinners but doesn't fight in battle.

Limbus Company gameplay tips
- Line up skills that share a sin. Two or more skills of the same sin trigger Resonance, which strengthens them, and three in a row side by side make the stronger Absolute Resonance.
- Keep a Sinner's Sanity high before using its E.G.O. Sanity raises the odds of heads on that Sinner's coin flips, and low Sanity makes an E.G.O with a Corrosion skill more likely to corrode, which can turn its attack on your own allies.
- Save E.G.O for boss fights and turns that could cost you a Sinner. E.G.O uses up Sanity and collected Sin resources, so spending it on routine turns leaves you short when the stakes are high.
- Uptie your main team's Identities to Tier 3 before anything else. The third skill of each Identity stays locked until it reaches Tier 3, so this gets you the full set of skills sooner.
- Check which day it is before running Thread Luxcavation. Its stages rotate by weekday, so checking first keeps you from spending modules on a stage you didn't plan for.
- Turn on the single-arrow mode on the arrow button at the top right of the battle screen. It shows the order skills will fire in, fastest first, so you can see what happens before the turn plays out.
