Blessings are permanent bonuses in Last Epoch that shape how your character plays and what loot you find. They can raise resistances, boost damage, or improve your chance to find items like unique drops. You earn them by conquering timelines in the Monolith of Fate, and each timeline offers its own pool to choose from. Knowing which blessings are best for your build makes a real difference.

How Blessings Work in Last Epoch
Blessings apply across the whole game, from the campaign to the Monolith of Fate, so a resistance or damage blessing is a lasting change to your character. Stat picks help you survive and deal more damage, while drop picks help you farm gear, gold, and crafting materials. That split is the first thing to think about when you look at a timeline's options.
How to Get Blessings in Last Epoch
You earn blessings by conquering a timeline in the Monolith of Fate. Run the Quest Echoes that move the timeline forward, then defeat its Timeline Boss to conquer it. The Choose Blessing panel then offers three blessings from that timeline's pool, and you keep one. Conquering a timeline also unlocks new timelines to explore.
Empowered timelines follow the same steps but give you more to choose from. Completing one gives you four blessing options by default, and a fifth opens once you reach 200 Corruption. Corruption is the difficulty level you raise as you push deeper into Empowered timelines.
Normal vs Grand Blessings: Which Should You Take?
Normal timelines give blessings at standard values, while Empowered timelines offer stronger Grand versions from the same pool. Grand versions only appear in Empowered timelines.
Don't stall your progress chasing one perfect name on a normal timeline. Take the best of the three options, keep clearing, and swap in a Grand version once you reach Empowered timelines. Running one normal timeline over and over for a single name slows you down.
The Blessing Timelines and What They Cover
Each timeline leans toward one kind of help, so knowing its theme tells you where to go when you need a certain effect. Fall of the Outcasts is the main farming timeline, with blessings for idols, glyphs, runes, gold, experience, and unique items. The Stolen Lance focuses on gear drops, and Blood, Frost, and Death focuses on weapon drops. Fall of the Empire and The Last Ruin raise the drop rates of shards, which feed into crafting.
The combat timelines cover the rest. The Black Sun is built around health, leech, dodge, critical strikes, and void damage. Ending the Storm covers lightning and cold damage, shock, ward, and mana.
Reign of Dragons brings resistances and damage-over-time help such as poison, necrotic, and bleed. The Age of Winter is the defensive timeline, with physical and cold resistance, armor, endurance, block, and freeze. Spirits of Fire covers fire damage, fire resistance, armor, endurance, dodge, and minion damage.
Best Blessings in Last Epoch for Resistances and Survival
If your gear is missing a resistance, a blessing for that resist can cover a big part of the gap to the resistance cap by itself. Resolve of Humanity is the most popular defensive pick, since one slot raises every resistance at once.
For a single resist, Protection of Heorot covers cold, Bastion of Divinity covers lightning, Heart of the Caldera covers fire, and Echo of Solarum covers void. Dream of Eterra handles necrotic, and Resolve of Grael handles physical.
Staying alive in long fights depends on sustain, which means healing from the damage you deal. Hunger of the Void suits spell builds, Hunger of Dragons suits melee builds, and Wrath of Rahyeh suits throwing builds. Thirst of the Sun works for any build because it makes all leech apply faster. Builds that rely on ward should look at Resonance of the Sea, Grace of Water, or Greed of Darkness instead.
Best Blessings in Last Epoch for Damage and Minions
Picking a blessing that matches your damage type means it adds to the damage you already deal. Whisper of Orobyss suits void, Chaos of Lagon suits lightning, Flames of Calamity suits fire, Cruelty of Strength suits physical, Binds of Nature suits poison, Despair of Flesh suits necrotic, and Might of the Sea Titan suits cold.
Ailment builds can also use a chance to shred a resistance or apply an ailment on hit, choosing the one that matches their damage type. For minion builds, Spirit of Command adds minion damage and Virtue of Command raises minion resistances. They come from different timelines, so you can hold both at once.
Best Blessings in Last Epoch for Farming Loot and XP
If you want to level faster or gather more loot, the farming blessings are worth a slot. Strength of Mind raises experience while you level through timelines, and Winds of Fortune raises unique item drop chance once you can clear bosses comfortably. Scales of Greed boosts gold drop rate, while Memory of the Living and Sign of Torment feed the glyphs and runes you need for crafting.
Every farming pick takes a spot that could hold a resistance or damage blessing, so timing matters. Keep Strength of Mind and Winds of Fortune early on, then swap them for combat stats once bosses start surviving your damage.
Some timelines are built around specific gear. The Stolen Lance has a blessing for each gear slot, so it's the place to go when one slot won't drop an upgrade. Blood, Frost, and Death has one for each weapon type, which helps when you need a particular weapon to craft with.
Can You Reroll a Blessing in Last Epoch?
Yes, and it's simple. Run the same timeline again and defeat its boss, and you get a fresh choice of three. You can keep your current blessing or replace it with one of the new options.
Rerolling costs nothing beyond the time it takes to run the timeline again, so it's mainly a question of how much time you want to spend. If none of the three fits your build, run the timeline again instead of settling for a weak pick.
FAQ
Can I have blessings from more than one timeline at once?
Yes. You hold one blessing per timeline at a time, so every timeline you conquer can contribute its pick to your character. Rerolling one timeline only changes that spot and leaves the others alone.
Where can I check my active blessings?
Open the blessings tab in the inventory window to see every blessing you have discovered and currently have active. You can also hover over a timeline on the world map to see the blessing you took from it.
Do blessing numbers change between offers?
Yes. Each blessing rolls its value within a range, so two offers of the same blessing can show different numbers. Read the numbers on your offer panel before you choose, since those are the values you will actually get.
