Home Alone Wiki

Door visitors in Home Alone can be real people or Anomalies using the same look and story. Before you open up, prove their claim with a house object, laptop cameras, night vision, their voice, or what you see outside, then either open the door or turn the porch light off to reject them. Wrong admits (and wrong rejects) cost Sanity, so the check comes first every time.

Items are the Lobby Merchant's between-night stock, paid in coins from completed runs: sanity restores that survive wrong door calls, detection aids that soften the anomaly guessing game, time travel for emergencies, and bonus buys. The shop is small, so each night's loadout is a real decision about which mistake you expect to make.

Chores are the nightly task list: fixed jobs that each start at a specific object, from brewing coffee at the kitchen island to the upstairs bedroom circuit. Clearing them by area while managing door visits is the core rhythm of every night. Knowing the start objects by heart is what separates calm runs from frantic ones.
